Our room wasn't serviced on our first day as the housekeeping staff came while we were in the room. We asked them to come back shortly, after we had gone out, but returned several hours later to find the room had not been attended to. We then had an afternoon nap and despite the 'do not disturb' sign on the door, they entered our room and woke us up!

Dinner at the onsite restaurant, Forest, was outstanding. We also had food and drinks in the casual area, Verandah, and they were great. Every staff member was warm and friendly. We arrived early and were able to check-in, leave our bags and head into town. The staff took our bags to the room when it was ready and sent us a text to say we could get into our room, ahead of official check-in time. They were so helpful and everything was managed so efficiently. This is our first time staying in a Crystalbrook property and if this stay is reflective of how they do things, I can't wait to stay at their other hotels too. I should add that the room itself was wonderful - very spacious, with beautiful views into the rainforest and across the glorious gardens of the resort. We really could not have asked for more - what a great long weekend we had!

Our 630am yoga class was less than desirable. We had a very stern and advanced instructor who offered a very challenging class with advanced moves that weren't suitable to all levels. We all left quite sore and quite shocked to be honest. But we just laughed it all away as it reminded of the White Lotus Movie. Haha.

A beautiful escape into a rain forest of magic. With chirping birds and pristine ambiance. A lovely place to escape with the whole family, and the SPA was absolutely amazing. Loved our whole experience. Including the thunderstorm on our second day.

bar a select few staff, the overall customer service was atrocious. I was harassed on a Sunday over payment despite already providing details. I was spoken to very rudely, despite it being a communication issue on their end. Then upon arrival and throughout the stay, we were made to feel as if we were asking for too much when simply asking questions (iPad directed us to ask staff).

I would say that knowing which number connected the phone to the front desk ahead of time would be best. However it is likely that we did not locate this information.

I loved the friendly service and amazing facilities. I also loved the various walks. From the lotus temple to the rainforest walk and even the path to the beach. They were all amazing!! I also loved the location. As we were travelling by car we were able to head to the city easily and to all the various tourist spots. I also loved the lighted sign outside of the resort as it made turning into the resort a lot easier and a lot safer. The front desk was also filled with knowledgeable, patient and helpful staff. They were well versed in the area from parking timeframes to restaurants to other fun and relaxing places to visit.

chaperoning to the rooms should be done , especially for first time visitors ,was unnerving to look for the room in hours of darkness. Especially towing luggage .

The weather :) - even though it was raining, it was still lovely to be away and relaxing.

The rooms were so nice, secluded and beautiful. The bath tub was sensational and I appreciated a nice bath in a quiet rainforest. The rainforest throughout the complex was so peaceful and relaxing along with the mediation walk. The facilities of the pool, gym and restaurant were also fantastic. Staff were so friendly and accommodated for every need. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will be back.
