We were mildly apprehensive when arriving and hearing the noise (8.30pm) but this ceased promptly at 10 so all was well. Carrying suitcases up stairs was resolved by nice bloke we called to reception. We over 80's. The only complaint is out of your control - the extreme heat! But the air con resolved that issue in the room.

Our room was away from the pool so noise not too bad. The hotel location was 5 out of 5 for us. Air con great - room lovely and clean and spacious. bed very comfortable.

Bathroom needs upgrade. After servicing it room, door was left unlocked and open on 2 days so our belongings were compromised as there was no safe to keep valuables.

Very close to everything. Love having the bar just there when you needed a cold drink. Happy hour every day was amazing. Food was great too.

It's loud until 10pm but quietens down quickly after that.

It's in a great location. Walking distance to the centre of city for restaurants, night-life, etc.

It was not clear that the live music is so loud in the rooms. Half of the staff is really nice, but the other half is not always.

The location is perfect, the hotel is clean, and there is a nice pool. Live music almost every day.

A lot of the rooms don’t have windows. They’re internal to the building. That’s the one I got and while it was still a decent room, it was weird not having a window. Also the shower was very outdated. It did what it needed to but just the “open plan” style bathroom with a shower curtain was an odd touch.

The location was perfect! Not too far that you had to drive but far enough that the sounds of a Friday night in Darwin isn’t affect your sleep! It was good value for money and the staff were really friendly. There was a live band playing and the atmosphere was nice towards the end of the night.

The live music was extremely load in the bedroom, it is directly outside of the female dorm. however the singer was brilliant so can’t fault that. It did end at 10pm which I thought was a reasonable time but if you’re wanting somewhere for a quiet night this is not the place.

I was in the female dorm for 1 night and the mattresses and cushion’s were great quality and extremely comfortable. I loved how each bed had a little soap bar, body was and shampoo on the towel. Fridge in the room which was also good so could keep water cold and any drink and snacks in there

It would be good to have a couple of biscuits provided like other hotels provide = also a couple of plates and eating utensils. Also we have no soap as there was an empty packet left from last guests?

The facilities are old, but everything works well, so no issues.

The hotel has a great position. The staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable.
