We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location and the free parking was a bonus. The rooms were spacious with comfy chairs, so we could sit and relax The restaurant was great with good food.

The Colmslie is our go-to hotel of choice for visiting Brisbane from Toowoomba. The price is right, the location is right, and the car park has loads of space. The restaurant and bar are excellent. And there's even cold beer to purchase for room service at a very good price.

Was passing through on my way home mid-coast, arriving from an overseas flight. Arrived late, and left early for the next flight. Had no time for breakfast but I understand the hotel has excellent facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent room. Happy to recommend it.

AustraliaI thought I booked the room at the $205/night rate, but was charged $270/night. No explanation was offered...maybe the late fee kicked? I should have checked the account when final payment was made...not accusations are being made.
The whole staff were friendly, obliging & supportive. The restaurant offered superb meals. The staff were understanding with my booking error when I checked out 2.5 hours late. I have apologised profusely & they didn't appear annoyed.
