How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very nice, clean and quiet house! The room was as expected and the rest of the house was lovely. Everything was shining like a diamond. A little too apprehensive about cleaning. On holiday I don't want to be scolded for cleaning. Other than that, everything is fine and was a nice stay

Fantastic room with everything needed to be comfortable. The shared bathroom was like having your own bathroom, as there was 2 to choose from. The attention to detail in the room was better than more expensive places we've stayed at. Close to everything we needed and would stay again for sure.

Very clean 👌 did not meet owners due to late arrival and early departure the shared bathroom amenities were the cleanest I have seen and I have stayed at 5 stars hotel, the room I had was 5 stars even better than most hotels have Thanks again.

There was nothing I didn't like, the whole situation was fantastic, 1000% times better my day to day living in my car.
I loved how organised the check in was via text messages. I loved how beautiful the room was, I loved how beautiful and clean the bathroom was, I loved how amazing every detail was looked after. I loved the bed the most, I haven't slept in a bed since the end of last year, it was the most beautiful sleep I've had in a very long time. I'm so very thankful that I had that one night it was like a dream.

Nothing really but parking may be an issue if there were other guests staying. There is some street parking. A bit of traffic noise from the room I stayed in but these things would not be in the control of the host. I would stay again. Homely and not pretentious or overpriced. Fair rate. There are stairs.
House was clean, bed had nice touch lamps which I like, there were available kitchen facilities, fan and aircon. Host was pleasant. Only downside was parking may be an issue, but I got a park as I was the only guest that night.

Nothing. I couldn't fault it.
Could not fault this accommodation. I was travelling on my own for a required trip to Caloundra, and just needed a quiet place to rest my head overnight, nothing fancy, and didn't want to spend a fortune. The place was impeccably clean, Michelle greeted me with a smile and friendly welcome when I arrived, and I didn't see her (or anyone) again after that. Nice quiet spot, easy to access, comfortable room with aircon, tv, mini fridge etc. Couldn't fault it.

The staff was so lovely and accommodating! It was quiet and clean and exactly what I was looking for. If you’re traveling alone and need to treat yourself for a night or so I highly recommend. Doesn’t break the bank while still offering the comfort and space that a hostel might not.

Nothing! Great place
Such nice, comfortable and home feeling place. Felt safe, and clean. The bathroom is so clean, there is fresh towels to dry hands/face with in a box. Just loved the place. Loads of place to park your car right outside of the b&b! Easy to check in, easy to leave. Good aircon!

Hearing people come & go, using the bathroom etc, but that's to be expected in shared accommodation.

I would have loved to be able to stay longer!
Fancy enough to feel like a holiday, comfortable enough to feel like home. Spotlessly clean, modern amenities, amazing communication for access. Good parking available, and close to everything I needed. Outstanding value, even better than expected. Checking in was a breeze, and checking out too. Well worth the booking!

Could hear my neighbour's and one lady was coughing a lot. Poor thing was obviously quite sick.

The room was very small, but was workable for a solo traveller.
Too late to order breakfast (brought in by separate business). Location -good. Quite-good for sleeping. Was able to contact owner by phone to let them know I'd be arriving later than expected time.

There was nothing I didn't like, except that I had a little trouble with the code thing on the front door (I have long nails), but my partner was able to open it for me.
The place is very clean and tidy. Everything is nice and modern. The beds were super comfy. I loved all the decor. The rooms had great air-conditioning and a fridge. The outdoor patio was lovely, too. The perfect place to sit and have breakfast or a cuppa. The kids really loved it, too.
