Very loud at night. Given the hotel is an old one the sound proofing isn’t very good. Given it’s in the middle of surfers that is a given but hard to sleep before 1am.

Newly renovated rooms were really nice and very clean. Central in surfers if that’s what you are wanting. Restaurant downstairs and pool area is also trendy/new.

Looks a bit old in some areas like lifts. Toilet has no lock and the shampoo bottles were not small. We did not like reusing after old guests.

The music from the bar was quite loud until past midnight on a Saturday night. With a young child this wasn't' ideal.

It would be great to have a hair dryer or iron and ironing board available in the rooms.

The island is a trendy hotel. We loved hanging by the pool and the staff were lovely. The rooms were lovely and modern and the balcony was great to have a drink on.

More Lift Facilities had to wait quite often with big events on E.g. Weddings Hand Basin was slow to drain had a sewer smell My daughters Shower Head didn't work properly we reported both these things to Reception when we checked out so hopeully have been fixed

There was a musty smell in the hallway towards our room and we didn't know where it was coming from. Building is a little old and you can see some wear and tear. Bathroom was functional but very small.

The location was a short walk away from the beach shoreline, shops and some restaurants. Complimentary items from the mini bar was an unexpected but very welcomed bonus. Public transport is very nearby too. Staff at the reception was friendly and speedy with sign in and check-out. Room was spacious enough for two people.

It was slightly noisey (but sound proofed enough). It’s the GC on a Friday and Sat night so most places would be.

The renovations were fresh and created such a fun and modern vibe.

The cleaning staff left the cleaning cloth in the living room but I understand maybe they are too busy and could miss things sometimes.

The staff was very friendly and she allowed us to check in early as I told her we all needed some sleep as soon as possible. And she also helped us to upgrade our room as she knew me and my partner just got engaged the day before. The room is spacious and the location of the hotel is very convenient-walking distance to surfer paradise beach. There is one good Thai restaurant (cocohut-suggest to book early to avoid long waiting time)in the next two shops and a worthy try.

friday night we were trying to have an early night so we could catch our flight that was early the next morning but we couldn’t get any sleep coz of the loud music playing from the bar. also it was a bit of a shame the spa was closed at an early time.

Perhaps the only negative is that it can get very noisy with people in street and music coming from Rooftop bar on weekend in the evening, but if you are not "oldies" like us, you might not mind it.😉

Staff slways very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and rooms cleaned every day. Coffee, tea etc in room was topped up every day and that was a definite plus. We loved the fact that it had a little balcony to enjoy some morning coffee from. View from balcony was great too even if it is just a bit of the ocean. :) We were on the 10th floor so was awesome to see everything from so high up.
