At 1 am some man arrived and started bashing on another door and yelling and this went right n for about an hour very troubling

No air conditioning or window to open for air. For such a hot climate, this was concerning and uncomfortable at night. Also customers drinking right outside a second door that was obstructed from opening and someone decided to start playing a Bongo drum at midnight on the footpath below. Air conditioning was also not adequate in the bistro either. Every part of my body was sweating. Room seemed unclean as I could see dust and marks on the mirror. Bed was clean though.

Showers were roomy and lots of places to hang stuff. Also liked the complimentary shampoo and soap. Loved the $20 meals. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Lucky we were there in cooler weather as there was only a fan in the room, no air-conditioner. Staying at a pub you expect music to go until early hours, however we did get a very early wake up with someone in the bar/kitchen cranking the juke box at 5.45am in the morning. Probably not the wake up call I was looking for.

The room met our expectations of an old country pub. We didn't realise when we booked that there was no bathroom, you need to use shared facilities. However these were very clean and well kept. The furniture in the room was old, but quiet comfortable.

Can be a little noisy until the pub shuts, but not too bad. No wifi unfortunately.

Very thin curtains, brocade lace, that provide no sense of privacy nor keep the light out at night. Some thicker curtains to pull across would be ideal as the room adjoins the public balcony area and face the Main Street. Bathroom floor tended to get very wet due to showers.

Getting an invoice when you check in is a struggle and I have to ask a second a third time on each visit, Sometimes I get one on check in, sometimes I have to email them days after my stay, which is time I don't have. I get the impression the staff at the Middle Pub are not really interested in the Middel Motel and it just a distraction that they don't have the time for, what a shame. But I do enjoy staying at the Middle Motel, and having a meal at the Middle Pub, it's in a very quiet and tranquil location.

We were lucky that we satyed on the weekend, I can see parking a car to be a bit of an issue, given the time allowaces on around the public parking spaces on the roads surrounding the pub. There are limited spaces on the premisies (I counted about 8), but that fills up pretty quickly with bar patrons also using that space.

Good value for money, given the location and vibe of the place. Fiendly staff and once you worked out how to get to your room, there is another access, avoiding the need to go through the bar every time.
