The room was stunning, well equipped and comfortable. The location was fantastic in terms of access to Town Beach. We also walked to Port City Bowling Club for dinner with friends.

The only disappointment was that there was no shower cap. I made myself a cap from a plastic bag I found in the bathroom cupboard.

It was a shame the restaurant was not open. The room we had on the 1st floor was near the bottom laundry and in the morning when it was used it became very noisy because of the draft between the entry door to excess our room and the laundry door.

Room was clean and adequate for our needs. Location suited our needs. Staff were friendly and very accomodating. Very enjoyable break.

Location is priceless. The indoor poor helped a lot during Autumn. Staff were really helpfull. apartment has everything you will need.

The room was old and tied nothing like picture when booking, the view was blocked by solid walls and represented nothing like the glass balustrade pictures, paid over $250 for the night expecting a whole lot more, should have booked another hotel at a lot cheaper price.

I don't know what's happened to Mantra lately but the places we have stayed in, including this one have very grubby communal areas. Awful carpets, grubby paint/walls. The carpark spaces are too small. The only way I could describe the cheap, old and nasty furnishings is depressing. It's a shame because it's an excellent location. The place needs sprucing up. Beds were uncomfortable.

Best holiday ever! Amazing views and location. The most spacious apartment we have ever stayed in. Facilities were neat and clean and 2 bathrooms was awesome. Highly recommend for families and we can't wait to stay here again. Coffee shop directly below the building and walk on to a swimming beach with lifeguards. Perfect spot. Kids couldn't get enough of the swimming pool.

Loved everything about this stay. Staff were very accommodating with our late night arrival. Place was sparkling clean and felt like home. Wish we had reason to stay longer. Will definitely be going back!

Fortunate enough to score an upgrade to the 3br Observatory penthouse, with fabulous views overlooking the beach. Superb apartment! Property also had a very nice indoor pool, sauna & spa.

I booked a ocean view room. I wanted to relax and enjoy the view. Only to find two high stools with no cushions. Upon booking in I told your receptionist not to use the card I booked in to pay for the rooms and I would supply another card. She didn't do what I asked now I have overdrawn charges on my card.

Location was great. Room neat with nice balcany view of park and townbeach. However room was in a "battle ax" configuration. The 2 Ajoining guest rooms' doors made a hell of a racket opening and closing. Plus we discovered that we had a laundry next to us. So constant opening and closing of those doors and cleanining staff talking as early as 6.30am was annoying. So i recommend all future guests have booking qualified as to where their room is located and what service rooms are adjacent. We were in room 101/2. To finish on a positive, we have stayed at the Mantra Observatory on 3 other occassions in last 4yrs and our apartments (on higher levels) were excellent. PS Staff at front desk and the cleaning staff were cheerful and friendly.

The apartment and common areas were tired and not well maintained. The carpet was so worn out it was like rolling Sandhills. The walls had marks on them. The place simply needs a lot of maintenance.
