I would have loved if they had a breakfast room with simple toast, coffee and cereal. It's hardly something I "didn't like" but it was the only thing that would have made the stay even better.

The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was nicely decorated and really warm, Wifi and YouTube on the TV was a bonus.

The bed was very high and the matress seemed old and in need of replacing. The chairs were also old and had become uncomfortable, probably needing to be re-upholstered or replaced. The shower was very small.

The room was in the stables and was beautiful. The wardrobe doors were a real wow factor.

The handle on the shower door was missing on the inside - had to leave the shower door open. Water pressure was also not the best.

It was a bit noisy outside. I could hear the car's sound at midnight. We stayed there for 3 nights, so it would be better if you could help change the towels.

Don't have much to say on negatives besides an unexpected charge for bottled water inside fridge but probably should have checked first before drinking.

I personally wasn't a fan of the room lighting, as it was a single-sideways LED mounted on the wall.

Receptionist was professional and helpful. I requested an early check-in because I'm a pain in the a** and flew in early for work, and the gentleman upgraded my room ensure it was ready. The room was clean, well presented and offered all necessary amenities. But that's being very picky for the incredible value for money staying at this hotel was. The art was wonderful, and the sitting room was very comfortable. The courtyard was well kept and tidy. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fridge a little old with very few bits- only one little milk. Not good plates and cutlery. No biscuits/ crackers to nibble on when you get in from a long flight.

I didn’t dislike this, but it’s important to be aware that part of the charm of the hotel is that it is an old building, and so has a higgle piggle of steps and corridors.

An older but comfortable and attractive property. Great reception from reception. The addition of art work around the hotel is lovely. It is located in walking distance of a number of eateries, and also Penny Royal.

Great place to stay in Launceston. Have stayed several times. We always feel welcome. Gordon was very accommodating to our needs when my friend was unwell and we were very appreciative. The room is nicely decorated and very comfortable in a lovely old building. Parking is available and close to town to walk. Very good value.

Loved the location close to city: even though it was close to traffic it was light filtered noise ( except for the occasional loud car). The decor was dearlightful and old world charm. Fascinating history. Comfortable bed: very pristine bathroom convenience. Provision of basic tea and coffee nd milk included. Snacks and alcohol if you are so inclined. Left feeling refreshed and invigorated. Looking forward to staying again. Was pleased when given a extra nights accommodation when requested. Kudos to all.

We had to have the heater running the entire time as the room was quite cold and the heater couldn't keep up and the shower was a little low.
