Our cottage was extremely comfortable and decorated beautifully. The dinner was Michelin star quality and we enjoyed the quaint dining room.

A delicious continental breakfast was provided in our cottage. The location was 15 minutes from Launceston.

Maybe wee bit better signage on arrival, but small accomm so staff are not always on site.

We found check in a little confusing but calling the number provided at reception fixed this and their manager was very friendly.

We loved the building, the features of the room, how at home we felt and the supplied make-it-yourself type breakfast.

Spacious, warm and comfortable. Exceptionally clean.Well equipped kitchen with ample crockery, glasses, cooking utensils, oil, spices, tea and coffee supplies. Tasty continental breakfast supplied in cottage. Comfortable beds, beautiful renovated bathrooms. Loved the toiletries. Lovely decor with lots of homely, cosy touches. Friendly and helpful staff. Totally recommend this property.

Our room was directly above the restaurant and we could easily hear conversations of diners.

Breakfast was better than average with a good selection of food. We enjoyed the variety of foods offered. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant, one of the main reasons that we chose to stay at the Red Feather. Highly recommended even though there were only 3 choices for main course.

Lighting along side path to our suite from street was poor.

Loved the heritage aspect of the property. It had so much charm and was beautifully furnished and styled.

We wished we could eat there but the restaurant wasn't on that night. Not their fault, of course. We could have appreciated a shower door to keep the water in more.

Only complaint was the bathroom near the laundry lacked space for toiletries and the cupboard above the small basin jutted out too far to be able to adequately use the basin without bumping ones head. The two leather chairs in lounge area could also be replaced with another sofa or more comfortable lounge chairs.

We stayed in Murphetts Lodge and it was a perfect size for a family of 4 adults. It was completely self contained with a fabulous continental breakfast available each morning. Unfortunately restaurant not available for our first night stay but it is such a gorgeous,intimate spot, we would definitely want to try it next visit.

Beautiful property, it was just the location that let it down a bit, not that it can be helped as the property was there long before anything else. However on the plus side, it is a good base for wandering to Launceston/Evandale etc...glad we stayed.

We stayed in The Library Suite, the best bed we have slept in for a while. We were greeted by Debbie a lovely bubbly lady, most helpful and friendly. We had the 3 course set menu on our last evening, could not fault a thing it was delicious. Stunning Historical buildings.

I loved the location of the Inn. The Garden Suite was just beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was amazing.
