As a solo traveler, it would be good to have a deadbolt on the door. Wasn't sure how to lock it from the inside, but it is a safety thought. Lack of night security as people can easily follow you in through the sliding key card door, and no one is at the front desk after 10 pm.

You get what you pay for! Perfect size room with a bonus little mini kitchen (sink, stove, keurig machine, along with several drawers of utensils). The room with a queen/double bed is a slight bit small, but again didn't need too much for this trip since I was mostly out all day. Everything was clean, simple, and worked. The central area where the rooms are was very cool to see and a good use of indoor/outdoor space.

Excellent location for access to train network. Newtown has a bohemian vibe with lots of good bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were very accommodating when we had a minor issue with our room they upgraded us immediately without us asking .Our first room was too small for 2 people with large suitcases but our 2nd room had everything we needed.

Bedside tables on both sides of the bed, please. Bedside lighting was fixed in position, and it's brightness - most disconcerting; adjustability would be great. Somewhere to place your toiletries in the bathroom would be convenient as well.

Room was a bit small, and the floor was covered in a kind of plastic, which felt odd. Some lights were not working. Small bathroom. Bed wedged against the window, which made access on that side difficult.

My only criticism is that a couple of small parts of the bathroom could have been cleaner. And street noise is pretty noticeable, especially in the morning. Although I acknowledge that this is not the fault of the Hotel

Rooms are air-conditioned but the hallways are not because the building itself is open roof with an internal patio garden area. This makes it hot moving around the building and lift. House policy to charge earlier than booking.coms terms and they charged an unexpected card surcharge. Too many messages coming from the property through the message function with booking.com prior to arrival, felt like spam.

Location is great for events in Newtown, 5mins to train station, never short on food and drink options. Simple check in/check out.simple modern design in rooms. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.

Mix up over room we were allocated (someone else was in it) quickly sorted...the room we had was next to a very noisy street with drunks outside most the night, unfortunately. A shame as everything else was great.

I guess you pay for convenience these days and I thought the price of the room and the parking was a little on the expensive side

Location for us was excellent we where attending a concert at the enmore so to be able to drive down from Newcastle and get a place within walking distance of our event and also be able to walk to restaurants and cafes was excellent
