Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWe enjoyed Panorama Hotel and have no negative comments to make. Will stay again.
Panorama Hotel is situated on Georges Bay with lovely water views and easy driving access to The Bay of Fires Conservation Area, beautiful white beaches and the famous orange lichen-covered boulders. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Having a restaurant and bar onsite is one of the reasons we booked Panorama Hotel, including the easy onsite parking. Second time visiting St Helens, will stay at Panorama Hotel again for sure.

AustraliaWell nothing - if there was anything it was easily tempered with the knowledge that everyone is busy working towards making it even better.
I noticed in one of the reviews that the property was undergoing some upgrades & renovations. So, I booked with trepidation- really shouldn’t have worried about that. From pulling up and checking in to driving out the following day there was nothing that I didn’t appreciate, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

AustraliaExcellent bar and outdoor area as well as indoor dining area. Wet afternoon watching AFL in front of a log fire in the bar was a perfect wind down in a busy trip! Quiet room with lovely views and wildlife near the balcony. Close to shops and restaurants in the town.

SingaporeRoom looks a bit too spooky for our liking, footsteps from outside were really loud when people walked past
Bed was very comfortable, there was a water dispenser outside our room so we didn’t have to buy more water. Staff was very friendly and waited 10mins past 8pm for us to arrive as we were going to check in late

AustraliaOur room was freezing cold on arrival which isn’t a great to start a stay BUT when we mentioned it at dinner the staff were extremely embarrassed and apologetic offering us an additional heater. BUT during conversation little bits of the past history of the Panorama were revealed by the staff, the hotel now has a new loving owner who is making radical changes to the hotel from what was a poorly run restaurant to now a busy dining venue. Work has commenced on renovating all 60 rooms and completely overhauling hotel and it to its former glory
Location of Panorama Hotel is excellent and an easy walk to cafes and supermarket. Presentation is clean & basic but very tired and dated. We had a water view room and the view was beautiful, importantly comfortable bed & great linen, hot shower & great towels. We ate at the on site restaurant and that did not disappoint……… best well considered seafood platter we’ve had in many years. Staff were friendly & helpful while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

AustraliaEverything was great.
We have stayed here previously and were happy to return as it is a lovely place to stay. Good location from which to enjoy Binalong Bay, Bay of Fires and that part of the east coast. Loved the comfy bar & restaurant. Lucky to find freshly caught lobster on the menu the night we were there, bonus! Lovely, helpful staff, very comfy room.

AustraliaPool is not heated. No lift to upper floor - so difficult to move luggage. Would welcome some thicker pillows, and a hotel info pack.
Big room with almost everything you could need. When they say a restaurant booking is essential - they mean it - very popular.
