There was no microwave or toaster. We also felt the restaurant menu was a little limited but food quality was good. Drinks were expensive.

We didn't have breakfast but we dined in the restaurant for the two evenings we were there. Our room was overlooking the wetlands with an amazing variety of birdlife. We also enjoyed the open fire in the restaurant.

Our room was very noisy. We were on ground level and could hear every step from those upstairs. It was also beside stairs and we could hear every step here as well. We could hear every word people in the hallway spoke and the noise from another room's aircon was intermittent.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the view from the restaurant and bar was amazing. It was very close to walk to town where you could get anything you needed.

We stayed for 2 nights. Great place, within walking distance to the main town. Very nice staff. Breakfast and coffee were very good. 25-minute drive to stunning Bay of Fires. On the negative side, walls are very thin. You could hear everything from next door, even the snoring. The shower unit is very small. it could have been a bit bigger. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The shower in the huge bathroom was very small and you bumped your elbows when washing We were told that all the bathrooms are to be updated next year

Bathroom needs updating but realise they haven’t finished completing their renovations. Maybe add some coasters in room to put hot drinks on. Maybe put in a lift instead of stairs so elderly, invalids can be on first floor to appreciate the views of the bay and gardens.

Friendly staff, couldn’t be more helpful. Awesome venue and room, bathroom spacious. Many options to relax - on balcony in room, out on the massive deck or lounge areas. You can stay here or just come for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just chill on the deck for a drink. Lovely outlook overlooking the bay. Walking distance to shops, wharf for fishing/boating and other eating areas around St Helen’s. Not too expensive for dining either. Hope you can promote it more so the public know it’s not run down anymore, but we will definitely spread the word.

Large room with lots of space. Great view out to the bay and a large pond which had a black swan swimming on it. Great restaurant down the corridor. Spa in the bathroom which was perfect after a long day out adventuring.

On arrival the check in could have been a bit more pleasant. We felt we interrupted the staff member and she was quite blunt (we arrived a little early).

The proximity to the main shopping area was very handy and the room was large. The staff working the restaurant were amazingly attentive and lovely to deal with.
