The bed in the main bedroom was far too hard did not sleep very well. For two nights I had to sleep on the couch. The double bed in second room was also very hard to sleep on.

On arrival told the AC in room was broken. Portable unit was brought to room. No problem. When portable ac turned on extreme heat coming out of back vent. This vent should have been ducted out of room but no ducting supplied and would not be able to lock door at same time. Advised management next morning who pretty much said oh well to bad sorry. So we payed for a room with Ac and had none. With no compensation offered.

Some rooms are occupied by people needing emergency accommodation. This was fine but they had lots of pets including barking dogs. I added a night to my stay and was asked to pay $30 more than I was quoted over the phone. $269 a night was a high price for the standard of this motel.

The room was spacious and had a sofa. The motel is in a good location near the supermarket and beaches. The parking space was reasonably easy to get into. It was quiet at night. There was a little crockery and cutlery and a kitchen sink.

Didn't like that all the lights came on from the same switch and they were quite bright. A bedside lamp would have been good to read by. Pillows were very high and firm, didn't realise there were others in the wardrobe.

Smooth check-in and departure. Comfortable bed, not too firm. Walking distance to supermarket and other shops and cafes. Water glimpses from our upstairs room. Fairly quiet considering the main road position. Free on-site parking.

Nothing to cook or prepare a meal. We don't eat out often as a family of 4 can get expensive every night. Only a toaster, kettle and microwave. We made do for the night. Would look elsewhere if looking to stay for longer than a day or two.

The pillows were much to hard, I used a small cushion and my husband tossed the pillows onto the floor and slept without them. This was very disappointing. The cups were way at the back of the draw and once I found them I was disappointed to find there were no biscuits.

The lights outside our room were on all night, making it hard to sleep. The room could also do with bedside lights as the overhead ones were very bright.

The lighting was poor...no bedside lamps. Also the towel rack in the bathroom was loose and I could have ripped it out of the wall. I had to place my towel carefully.

The property is very outdated, paint peeling of the walls and doors, dirty smudges on the door frames, toilet brush had poo on it from previous occupants and there was mould on the windows…We didn’t get the WIFI password (ended up not needing it but it should have been provided upon the check-in), no bedside table lamps, we found a lamp in the closet but no light bulbs, had to ask for it. We stayed in motels within the same price range many times before and I have to admit this one was probably one of the most disappointing ones.

The beds were comfortable and the property is very close to the shops and takeaway restaurants, ground level rooms are at the back, so minimal street noise and no noise from the rooms next to us.
