Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was slightly dirty or stained as well as worn out. The bed was super uncomfortable and the curtains were barely enough to stop the light coming through.

The only option for an evening meal was their own restaurant, and the meals provided to us were poor. They don't provide breakfast and at 8.15 am there was no other facility open in the town.
Clean and tidy. It's location relative to the tree-top walk is excellent.

No breakfast. Disabled unit had ridiculous ramp to the door. No one in a wheelchair could use that safely. The shower does not drain properly, getting the bathroom floor wet. another safety hazard for a disabled person.
Location was what we needed. This motel is not up to the standard we usually have, but it was the only one available.

What we paid for two nights, the accommodation was not that much worthy. If you are traveling with family or kids, nothing is there to enjoy. We had to pay 50 aud extra for one sofa bed for my 5 year old son. The shower or any other hot water system doesn’t work properly. You can’t mix the hot and cold water. There will be nobody around from 7 pm to next day 2 pm at the reception. We stayed two nights but our room was not cleaned or they didn’t change any toiletries, really unexpected. There was nobody to ask this about around evening. The food at the restaurant was not fresh at all. We ordered Nan and dal as they were not sure that the food is halal or not. Nan was hard to break.
Parking is great. You can park in front of the room. Also location is good. Tree top walk is just 15 minutes drive from the motel. There are also some nice lookouts and cliffs with hiking trails.

Booked Motel due to onsite restaurant - it was closed for winter. (as was most other establishments in the town.) (fortunately the one fish and chips shop was opened) TV would not work due to damaged connection. They were unable to repair or come up with a solution! - just said will fix tomorrow, obviously after we had left!)

Requested twin room had one bed. Room was musty. Pillow didn’t smell clean, were a few stains on bed so not sure if it was cleaned. Shower needs a good clean , grout was dirty and shower head was gross. Also was moisture dripping from ceiling . Pretty sure all the soap dispensers had the same stuff in them (shampoo, conditioner etc)
Good parking, very neat and well kept externally. Good heater and complimentary hot chocolate.

Paper thin walls - could hear one neighbour watch TV and hear the others talk about their travels. Reception wasn't open as advertised, restaurant was closed. Just not worth the cost.

Too cold and bad soundproofing. I heard my neighbour snoring all night long

The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious and the staff were helpful and welcoming. The restaurant is now serving Indian food which was delicious! It was so good we went twice!
