There was a bit of a smell to the room, like sewerage but not overpowering.

The hotel itself was lovely and the staff provided excellent customer service.

Can't fault this hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff, quiet, safe, comfort and very clean amenities. Check in/out was quick and simple. Free parking (not secure) with booking was a bonus. Will definitely be booking here in the future.

On top of this building, is a bar called Dirty Sultan, and they party until 3am or so with music so loud, the windows, walls, and everything in the room shakes. Their patrons were also yelling, cheering and jumping up and down. We stayed on the 4th floor, so we heard EVERYTHING. Reception pretended like they didn't really know what was happening and refused to make a noise complaint or call police. I've gotten the impression that it's one company that owns it all, so they just don't care. There were complaints from someone a few blocks over about the noise of this party. They need to be shut down.

The basic problem for this hotel is that they have a loud bar with thumping music on the top floor, which is open until the early hours. It doesn't matter how much you insulate for sound, those sub-woofers will penetrate anything! I was exhausted after a long week - I didn't expect to have to take sleeping pills to get a night's sleep, but that's what I ended up doing They really need to fix this head on - either the bar changes into a more mellow venue, or the hotel doesn't take bookings on the nights its open.

The staff were nice and really trying despite the basic problem discussed below. On check-in, they offered straight away to move me to the quieter side of the hotel. The rooms are nice and pretty spacious. The location is overall fine and convenient for the area.

The shower flooded into the bathroom floor as the door did not shut.

This is close to the airport. Close to shops and bars and restaurants. There is a lift and good access. The room is well appointed with a coffee machine and small refrigerator. Great size room and super quiet with block out blinds.

You can't adjust the aircon, was freezing didn;t sleep all night. No blanket. The blackout curtain came down loudly automatically at 5am and woke me up when I had just gotten to sleep. Loud noise from nearby bar not good for work trip if you want to sleep.

Wonderful bathroom, very nice art. Friendly reception. Easy free parking next door. Great location close to everything.

On the top of the building is a Turkish bar called The Dirty Sultan. They played ridiculously loud music until 2-3am, as well as their guests yelling and jumping up and down. The walls and windows were rattling with the sound. Staff pretended like they didn't know about it, but apparently it happens most Friday and Saturday nights. The noise was well above any nightclub I have ever been to or near. A noise complaint needed to be made, and they did nothing about it. We will never stay here again.

The walls and insulation is paper thin. I was on level 2, was not even asleep yet and heard extremely loud screams at 10pm from people having sex either above or the room adjacent. It was so bad my wooden bedhead was violently shaking and my bed was rattling. It was quite traumatizing. I could also hear the sound of the toilet and shower above me everytime it flushed as if water was flowing above my head. I think the hotel needs to work on adjusting the acoustic insulation.

The staff member at reception was very good & helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the block out auto blind is great. The room is good value for money if you just want to somewhere to sleep.

The bed was uncomfortable. The room was right next to a plant or equipment room with loud sound all night long. The price was very high for the quality of room. Cheap fittings. Not much sleep. Carpark far away from room in a rough part of town.

The staff were very helpful, clear communication and friendly before we even arrived, the room is comfy and cool, shower was amazing the lighting was so cool, there is a club right under the hotel but inside the room you couldn’t hear much it wasn’t a bother we slept all the way through, and the hotel is close to everything right in the heart of the valley

Nothing on the hotels part, only the noise from the clubs got a little annoying but not that bad.

Advertising misleading regarding the free parking - free parking is in an unsecured vacant lot. Roma was very noisy, offered black out blinds, but noise reduction would be better! Debt or credit, you are charged a surcharge. Blaming the bank, but in these days, free payment options are EVERYWHERE! And lastly; I was charged twice for the stay, one charge even higher than booked amount + their bank fees!! If I hadn’t called them (twice), they wouldn’t of refunded the money. Wouldn’t stay there again, and would not recommend

It was clean and close to the Fortitude Valley Hall. Perfect place to be when youre going to a concert as it is just walkable. 24/7 check in so you never have to worry and the staff are just so kind! I love this place and if im going to brisbane again, will def book here!

Rude staff upon checking in, nightclub downstairs blaring music all night with zero soundproofing in room making it feel like you’re in the club. Shower door closing causes water to be spilled throughout the entire bathroom. Bed not even made correctly with sheets coming off when getting in.
