We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IrelandNoise disturbance forced us to move rooms. 'Complimentary Mini Bar' pretty limited for the extra price. I guess overall room price is based on proximity to nightlife but sleep is a challenge as a result.

Have stayed here a number of times over the years and has always been such a great place to stay. In the perfect location to the top and bottom end of the valley. I have a feeling it's changed ownership - the only difference is you don't get bottles of water and lollies on arrival in your room anymore - all of the rooms used to come with that awesome little touch but other then that awesome rooms with different art throughout - Awesome it has parking now!!!! If you are staying longer, it is definitely worth upgrading to the spa room 😍

AustraliaDO NOT STAY HERE ON A WEEKEND IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP. I appreciate the problem is caused by a neighbouring business but the hotel should be more honest in the fact that if you stay here on a weekend you will get zero hours sleep. It might depend which room you stay in, we were in room 315 directly above the neighbouring bar. It seems to be a long term problem! Having read some online reviews at 3AM, whilst staying at the hotel due to the fact it was impossible to sleep, it appears to be a long term problem acknowledged by the hotel. Shame they still charge full price on weekend! We contacted reception and were offered ear plugs. The hotel was fully booked so we could not get another room. We were also told at check out that we are staying in fortitude valley, and to expect some noise. We wouldn’t have minded a bit of noise but the noise in our room was unbearable. I can’t fault the staff, everyone was lovely to us and the hotel is very nice otherwise, but this is not a problem the staff can expect to fix. Hotel owners need to seriously invest in adequate sound proofing. Owners should also not be charging full price on weekends for rooms that are affected. Reviews from over 2 years ago state that the hotel is looking for a long term solution to the problem….. says it all really!!
