Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australiahotel really needs to invest in purchasing new mattresses. mine had a permanent sunken area on the right hand side of the bed that clearly was from old age and only can be made from too many bodies laying in that one spot. bit of a let down with the price and slightly disturbing.
location is perfect and central to fortitude valley. everything is within walking distance.

AustraliaOur courtyard room was spotlessly clean and quiet (especially considering it was a Friday night), the bed was huge and very comfortable. Loved the smart tv and the wonderful shower. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We chose to park in the unsecured carpark next door for $17. We booked The Constance because it was within easy walking distance of the venue we were going to, and will hopefully be back soon.

AustraliaThe fridge contained an open sandwich from a previous guest, which made the fridge quite unpleasant to open
Fantastic location, room 102 was very quiet even though it faced the street, unique room styling, loved the blue mood lighting and block out blinds

AustraliaThe floor was creaky in this room; this is my 3rd stay here (so I know it is a great place) and never experienced that before, usually I stay on the 1st floor though.
Location, ease of check in, the bed in this one was great, the shampoo/conditioner/bodywash bottles are great too

AustraliaWe did not realise there were black-out blinds in our room (by remote), so the sunlight came straight in at 5am. After a night out we hoped to sleep in. But that's on us I guess, however the room could have a larger sign to mention there is a little remote for the black-out curtains on the side table. We did not use the TV, so we gather the remote for the blinds was near the TV remote if we looked. The bathroom bench-top area is tiny (after the huge basin)! Yes minor haha, but being a female I had to have my make-up goods and pieces outside the bathroom and just grab what I needed whilst getting ready. There is a mirror outside near the entry though too.
Fantastic location for the Valley entertainment precinct, and really funky decor in the rooms. Great that parking is validated for half the price of staying parked in McWhirters carpark (when did that triple?!) otherwise for an overnight. If you're feeling up to it, you could dress up and go to 'Dirty Sultans' upstairs for a fancy lounge around and cocktail (but looks to be for the very fancy folk - wonder if I'd get let in with dress flats or Vans/Converse?!) but this also means the area is a lil loud on a Friday/Sat nights - till 2am+. Or see if the pretty 'Rose Room' is open for breaky/lunch right next door, gorgeous place. I do love the art-deco decor, the art work generally and the bathroom basin is really huge. For a Friday night, the standard Queen room was $200, more affordable than a lot of options nearby when booked a few months out.

AustraliaSome of the paintwork is starting to look a bit worn. Our courtyard had a random plumbing pipe sticking out over the chairs. Whilst we didn't see anything drip out, it didn't make me feel comfortable spending time out there, so was a bit of a waste.
Staff were helpful. Like the room designs. Bed was so comfy. Showers are great.

United KingdomThe only downside I would say is if you are staying at the weekend ask for a quiet room as the music from the bar next door went on until 3am on Saturday night but a small price to pay for a lovely hotel. Otherwise it was very quiet. We were on the second floor facing the bar.
The property was booked at the eleventh hour after a very disappointing experience at a previous accommodation through booking.com. Carley the receptionist could not do enough for us - the rooms are boutique style not huge but for 3 nights they worked - very comfortable and very clean. The staff were all accommodating, would highly recommend a great location.
