My only negatives are the wi-fi on site is spotty, sometimes it works well other time not. It does not seem to have good coverage in the beach front rooms. The other thing is, and this is mentioned by others the showers are not fully enclosed so if you don't want water all over the bathroom use caution where you aim the shower head.

This is a wonderful retreat with a great staff and very comfortable surroundings. The owners are active in the operation and greet you by name and making sure everything is to your liking There is a large pool and hot tub for relaxation and plenty of lounge chairs. The large bar and restaurant have ample seating so you never feel your cramped. You can socialize or do your own thing.

The Fing loud music it's over the top . 2 nights running we were sitting finished our dinner and so fwit turned up the music LOUD couldn't hear the person next to me . It's very discourteous. I would suggest for everything that is nice about the Facility that leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the stay . I won't be going back

self made breakfast is a good idea but some basics like cheese were missing it was too much chlorine in the spa so everyone had teary eyes when the spa was running

There are beautiful peacocks roaming on the property. It's absolutely lovely. However, they leave poo just about everywhere. It was not a big problem for us though. Just need to watch where you stand after a few drinks.

A wonderful location. Beautiful scenery. In particular, we really appreciated the work of all the staff at the resort. Everyone was very friendly and approachable. Any issues were resolved promptly. We made friends with lots of guests as well. We will be back.

It's twenty minutes outside of Port Douglas but you will need a car to explore this part of the world, anyway so not an issue.

Amazing staff who make you feel incredibly welcome. The rooms are on the older side but clean and comfortable and have everything you need, including fridge. Breakfast was self serve and has everything you'd want.

Room was quite below par for the money. Stayed in a beachfront room, which was a great spot, but it was not a nice room. Bathroom looked nice but shower was significantly under powered - barely working, and room lacked facilities that many hotels have - ice tray was old and broken, not enough cups, freezer iced over so unusable, TV remote did not have batteries for instance… so finer details just not really checked. This is not okay for a highly priced room.

Fantastic location! What an amazing spot! Great pool area, nice large rock pool type spa area, and convenient access to a fairly private clothing optional beach. Restaurant food was fantastic, and cocktails were well made. A lot of places to relax, and other guests were friendly and nice to hang out with.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and there was just a really chilled atmosphere everywhere in the resort. The setting right on a private sandy beach is perfect for relaxing. The food is excellent and the dining area is set up so that you can easily sit and chat with new people. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.
