The bed and pillows were a little harder than expected but for a two night stay they were comfortable enough.

The food was fantastic! Breakfast choices were more than enough to choose from and left us feeling full right through until dinner. The queen room was spacious and the shared living area was quiet, clean and comfortable. The property was in a quiet location but central enough to many locations in Newcastle, with only a short 10 minute drive to most places that we wanted to go to in the area. Our hosts Dawne and Bruce were accomodating in every way, and we would definitely recommend this place as it met our expectations and our budget for this trip.

All good no complaints

Breakfast was excellently prepared by Dawne and served by Bruce with his wonderful Aussie charm. The breakout area between the rooms was very well equipped and promoted interaction between the guests and we were lucky enough to be able to share stories with 2 other interesting couples traveling through Newcastle. All in all a great B&B.

Pancakes were great but could have done with some yoghurt on the side. Muffins were exceptional.

Our stay at Bruce and Dawne's place was simply amazing. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Great view, very nice veranda and a private pool which was the highlight. The breakfast is very vast and carefully prepared. Another nice touch was the Welcome book which had a lot of useful information about the area and things to do. Bruce and Dawne are great really great hosts with whom we enjoyed having a chat with. Will definitely go back! Thank you again!

Super clean, great location for what we needed, breakfast was amazing. Communal lounge was cute, pool looked great but we didn’t use it! Bruce and Dawne were great with comms and info and accommodated our late arrival time.

We live in Brisbane and one of our children lives in Newcastle. I needed to get to Newcastle asap and did not know for how long. I booked the accommodation when I left home at midday and knew I would not arrive til late in the evening. Bruce was awaiting my arrival and met me at the car :) It was quite a stressful few days, two nights stretched to three, then four, I had car troubles and another of our children flew down so I wouldn't be doing the roadtrip home alone. So one occupant became two for the fourth night! Through all of this Dawne and Bruce were the perfect hosts, without imposing at all they made me feel very safe and supported, truly a home away from home <3 Everything about the premises and facilities is faultless, Dawne and Bruce have thought of everything a traveller might need and Dawne's breakfasts are divine!

Very enjoyable stay at this beautifully appointed b&b. Like staying at a 5 star hotel, but better, with personalised service, comfy beds, new bathroom, lovely views over treetops. The breakfast was superb, much better than any hotel. Highly recommend staying here.

The attention to detail of this place, everything has been thought of to ensure guests feel at home, love the chocolates on the pillow, the interior design was very much appreciated and even down to the phone charger options. Loved Netflix was also available a really nice touch! Thank you for looking after me so well!
