We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Loved the room, the history of the building and the photos to illustrate it. The bed was really comfy. The roof top bar and the view were amazing. Staff were really helpful and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable.

AustraliaThe rooms are small by modern standards, the bathroom minuscule with no fan, no suitcase racks or wardrobes, no breakfast option on site nor room service. The hotel itself has an aura of something that was once grand and wonderful, now falling towards decrepitude.
Super comfy beds and a beautiful old historic hotel, if a little faded. The staff all went out of their way to help us, provided blankets so we could enjoy our balcony, and generally tried very hard to make us comfortable and welcome. Lovely meal in the restaurant (although we were the only patrons). Not the 5 star hotel/experience I remember from the 1990 s when I was last here, but my young adult children actually really appreciated the ambience.

Fantastic location - right in the middle of town. Hotel is very old but we loved the character that this gave the place and its place in the local history of the area. Amenities were all fine including wifi.
