The rooms and layout gave plenty of options for family to sit and hangout. Perfect affordable accommodation for a family. Definitely felt like a home away from home.

We found the TV was too high to watch comfortably from the chairs in the entertainment room. The local Coco Mojo restaurant/bar opens around 11.30 am mid-week to Sunday, a little late for coffee, however, the house has a Nespresso machine (and plenty of pods were available) for guests to enjoy coffee by the pool.

Location was quiet, in a private residential setting. A short walk to the stunning beach, and 2 kilometre walk to Palm Cove restaurants along beach front. A local restaurant/bar Coco Mojo was 100 m walk, and had delicous food and drinks. The pool was wonderful, the house was superbly equipped. It was exceptionally clean, neat and tidy with delighful interior decoration and catered for young childrens needs too. The rainforest at the rear of the property was welcome providing excellent shade in the afternoons. A BBQ was wonderful for cooking dinner in the evening by the pool. Plenty of air conditioning and ceiling fans in the house. The kitchen was well equipped with china, glassware, cutlery, and pots and pans. The DW was appreciated, making our stay easy. There were tea towels and amenitites (incl. tea, coffee, detergent, dw tabs, hand wash). The bathrooms had shampoo/conditioner and cleaning products. The laundry was a welcome addition with soap powder for the WM and cleaning products.. Linen was excellent quality. The bus to Palm Cove/Cairns is close by, and a shopping centre with Coles supermarket, excellent butcher, ATMs, cafe, chemist, Reject Shop, Liquorland, pizza restaurant, dentist, doctor, post office etc is a 15 minute walk. It's an easy stay if you don't have a car. Highly recommended.

My family loved staying at this house - great location and pool. We'd stay again.

It would be good to have more instructions (in the welcome pack perhaps?) for things like the TV, washing machine, dishwasher, although the hosts were very responsive to questions so that was fine.

The pool was wonderful. Heated to a perfect temperature and it was great to have some pool toys like noodles for my daughter to play with. The master bedroom and ensuite was comfortable and quiet. I loved the spaciousness of the ensuite bathroom, particularly the table that gave extra bench space. The location was a two-minute walk from the beach and we enjoyed going for daily walks along the beach.

    We didn't like going home.

We absolutely adored this property! The pool was fabulous and the kids used it multiple times every day. The pool heater is timed so looks after itself. The property is a bungalow and there is a door to separate the living area from three of the four bedrooms so it was nice and quiet for the kids to sleep. The house is on a quiet, residential street and is within walking distance of the beach. It was a super location to base ourselves in for visiting Daintree, Port Douglas, Palm Beach and Cairns. A rep from the property management company met us with the keys, gave us a tour of the house and answered any questions. They also had a text message service and were quick to reply to any questions. There was lots of towels provided - a set for the pool and a set for the shower. We used the BBQ a lot and dined in the garden under the sun sail. There are some toys and games for little kids. There are fans and air con in all the bedrooms and living area. Our family loved this house!

The a/c in the main bedroom was pretty noisy...if we turned on the fan as an alternative, speed 2 was too low but 3 sounded like a chopper taking off!

Perfect location, close to the quiet Clifton Beach & close enough to Cairns to nip in for activities with the kids. The pool was perfect for the toddler & the older kids. So many toys for the kids to play with!

There are many things that need looking at. Then dryer did not work. The back sliding door was very difficult to open. The pool was dirty. The Lounge suite was not fit for a clean house. Some dog had marked their territory and the dirty cushions and the dirt around the edges was not good. The bbq was dirty and we could not get it to light up to fry our food. The bed linen was clean. The fridge was unclean on the bottom near the vegetable door. The kitchen table was NOT clean and the varnish was peeling off. The table had chunks of wood was missing. The window in my room wouldn’t open. The gardener came at 7:30 am to do the garden! We were all asleep!! Access to the beach was good. The back step to the back yard is not good for my Friend who has a disabled son. It needs immediate looking at. He nearly fell out of the doorway into the back yard. The second bedroom has a very musty smell about it. There were other things that need looking at.

You had to supply your own food.
