How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Air con was old style wall shaker, Barely kept the room cool. WiFi was dropping out all the time. Most annoying.

Friendly and helpful staff. Helped me unload and load a heavy esky from my car. Room had a fabulous view. Light and airy, comfy bed, nice hot shower. Good location.

My only issue was the mattress was a little bit hard.
Loved the location, staff were very friendly, room was spacious, would definitely recommend to friends.

very noise location, tracks all night along the highway; Roof is leaking on the top of the bed for the whole night at the 2nd night; shower door was broken on the 1st night; no room service.
Clean just like everyone else commented on the review, but nothing else; rooms smell funny at the 1st step into them...

beds were uncomfortable and noisy! There was no kitchen bench or sink, even though there was a fridge, microwave, toaster etc. There was also not enough seats in the lounge area for us all to sit - less seats in the lounge than beds!

Dated, bed sloped on one side. Carpet was stained and had holes in it. No table inside to sit at. So had to eat in bed.

Check in was a disaster wouldn’t look at my phone for confirmation,hard to understand had to talk on phone to someone else ,was told I booked through different companies (not true)would not recommend this place to anyone,some rooms had no chairs or tables,cutlery was sparse,glasses some had some not,bed springs were felt all night

We had two adults and three kids as booking and booking said it had two bunk beds and single bed but when we got there the room wasn't ready and when we got back the floor was wet , and the room only had queen mattress and two singles and when asked staff about it she said site hadn't been updated and.brought a mattress in and put it on the floor and didn't even make the bed or give my child a pillow for my child. The dishes were dirty and had soap scum still On plates and Cups , there was a plastic stool too get in and out of shower . Toaster wasn't very clean either . Missing a BBQ or cooking facilities

Owners son stayed in a room with he’s mates drinking load abusive conversations till a phone call to reception at midnight to make it stop.

What we didn't like 70% of the room we got but as optimistic people we made the other 30% work. Yeah so I didn't like the paint smell, pretty sure the fumes killed a few brain cells. The layout of the room was slightly off-putting but we fixed that with a few new creative design ideas, New placement of the tv, Hiding the extension cord for the $29 Kmart special replacement heater you know that kinda thing. And definitely got catfished by your photographer with the child sized spa photoshoot. PS the irony board was a slight inconvenience in the new tv placement as it was 9mm to small.
What we liked All website photos! 👍 The horsey I could see out the window in the morning was alright I guess the bed wasn't to bad either.
