Fabulous location close to the Marina and not too far from the esplanade. Staff were lovely. Room was the perfect size for a family of 4.

Most pictures on the booking website are for the Ramada not Ramada encore which is the older whale cove.

The stairs with no elevators. We were not informed of this until with had booked (and paid). We were confused with the sister resort that is closer to the water (Ramada Encore is near the water, while Whale Cove is behind the Encore).

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The bedding was good as well as the amenities within the unit. We did not realise that we were on the 2nd floor without an elevator (so if you are elderly or have trouble using stairs, be wary). Also, the name of the resort was confused with their sister resort that is at the back (and much closer to the water).

Will the spa over the other side was very cold was not warm enough so I was hoping that it was so I can relax that's all.

Kitchen items could have been a bit better. Didn’t particularly bother us as a couple but one bathroom with the toilet in the bathroom is a design failure.

Property was a really, good size. Handy walk through to Smokey Joes and the Boat Club etc.

When booking I suggest you ask for an animal free apartment. Was dog hairs on the couch. Toilet had stains ( reported this) . Actually felt like poor cousins to Radama by Wyndham. The pillows in the apartment we had definitely needed replacing. The pool looked good but it was too cool to swim . Spa there.never had a chance to use as couple of families took it over

Pre-arrival cleaning appeared to have been rushed as some surfaces were a bit sticky and cleaning materials for the kitchen (detergent, tea towel, sponge, scourer, dishwasher powder, rubbish bags) were missing - but quickly provided by housekeeping when requested.

Great location, quiet, nicely equipped apartment, parking right at the door (stairwell), lovely staff. Our second stay there this year and would be more than happy to stay again.
