Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesService could have been a little more pulled together. But everyone was so lovely that it didn't really matter.
Extremely charming, great staff and Eduardo's beach shack was some of the best food I've ever had! (and I live in NYC...). So many fun nooks and crannies and so lush. And it's literally across the street from the beach (away from all of the craziness). I would definitely go back.

United KingdomIf I'm nitpicking, and I mean that in the literal sense as the stay was absolutely fantastic, a few things that could be improved: Onsite dinner option (besides bbq'ing on your own) would be appreciated for those nights you want to chill at the casita; Wifi signal didn't stretch to bedroom, which was fine- good to take a break, but not optimal for streaming in bed; and Closet space could be optimised with more shelves/dividers (difficult to fit hand luggage- can't imagine fitting two full size suitcases). Finally, both pools were often frequented by a decent amount of young kids (screaming, running, splashing). I'd *love* to see this property as adults only, but if not, then at least designate one of the pools as adults only.
Gorgeous property- the photos don't do it justice. I was blown away when I arrived- it's so lush and stunning in every way, from the actual property itself to the individual casitas. You'll feel secluded and removed in the best way possible- attention to detail and design are magnificent. Would 100% return to Aruba, largely to stay at this property again. Staff was so friendly and helpful, and the little touches (like freshly brewed in-room iced tea and great toiletries) made the stay extra special. The room came well equipped with cooking gear, plenty of towels and other features (iron, hairdryer, extra pillows, safe, etc.) you may want on holiday. The spa was lovely- one of the best massages I've had outside of Southeast Asia, and it was nice to see a gym, albeit small, on property. Onsite restaurant (Eduardo's) is a healthy and refreshing change to most of the heavier island fare. Renting a car made it easy to get around the island, and parking was never an issue at the hotel (free and plentiful). I've traveled to nearly 70 countries, and this is easily one of the top places I've stayed. A gem in Aruba, for sure.

United StatesI could have used some laundry services as I ran out of clean clothes. The hotel website should add more details on the room amenities they offer (like all the bath products, the cooler, etc). That way I could have avoided bringing some of the TSA screened liquids from home.
First trip to Aruba & traveling solo. Made reservation based on hotel website, photos & + reviews. The best hotel I've ever stayed at. The location was excellent for me, at the "end" of the high rise hotel area, not on the beach but across the street from the Ritz Carlton which IS located on Palm Beach. It's a low rise hotel, two stories of individual casitas, not free standing units but each with its own private entrance amidst a tropical paradise garden of palm tress & bougainvillea. Absolutely gorgeous! The area is gated so very safe & for those who rent cars, a small parking lot that can be difficult to navigate with larger vehicles. The rooms are huge, open concept, high ceilings & decorated with tropical furnishings, decor, & colors. Every amenity was available (shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hand cream, insect spray, iron, plenty of towels, a full kitchen with kitchen equipment, in room safe, bath robes, hair dryer, charcoal grill & a cooler that you can take out of the room for use at the pool, beach or car. Beach towels & snorkeling equipment were available at the front desk & if you went to the Ritz beach area, there were huge containers of sun screen, ice water & "showers" to remove beach sand. There's some connection to the Ritz hotel, such as discounts on dining & palapa reservations but I didn't take advantage of these. There is a small in house food service available for breakfast & lunch plus a drink bar at one of the 2 pools but I didn't use these services either. Located off the beach, quiet...no crazy loud music or hoards of tourists. However, if you are looking for that kind of action, getting that is just a block or two away. It's also walking distance to the famous snorkeling beaches. I cannot say enough good about the staff.

United StatesI loved everything.
Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the actual casita was just beautiful. I honestly cannnot wait to come back. Reserving your beach hut the day before was easy and the beach service from the Ritz is a plus. I can't even describe the grounds of the hotel because words won't do it justice. Go to this hotel!

United StatesWe stayed in the suite and the view was just not quite what we hoped for. I was expecting a scenic view as it is supposed to be the best spot however, the view consisted of the highway and a dirt road. It didn’t ruin the experience but was definitely a bummer. Also, we were slightly disappointed in “tapas night” which is something the restaurant does on Tuesdays, I assumed there would be a separate menu however, it was just smaller portions of their existing menu.
Loved the pools and drinks.

United StatesMy least favorite part was the venue’s lack of transparency with the service charges
I love, love, LOVED the jungle-esque aesthetic and feel of this hotel. I got up early each morning to take photos of myself in different areas which was great because once you’re on an excursion you won’t think about it and will probably be too dirty and tired afterward. My casita was beautiful, I adored the hand painted mural behind my bed, the pivoting tv & mirror and especially the private outside shower with my casita deluxe. It was such an at home feel.

United StatesGoing through a bit of construction was noisy at times but understandable. Would like to see a cash option to pay our tab at checkout. US charges high fees on international card use.
Very clean, you feel like you are in the middle of a tropical island. Landscaping and decor is beautifully done. At night time the property really shows how pretty the setting is. The staff goes above and beyond to enhance your stay. The owners certainly take pride in their resort and that’s why we always come back here.

We loved everything about this hotel!!! It's gorgeous. Would highly recommend it! The pool area is so cute, the happy hour drinks are delicious, and the food is so tasty. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Our casita was perfect, it had everything we could want and more. We would 100% go back tomorrow if we could. We are sad to leave. It's like a little piece of tropical paradise.
