Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Svjetlana is a wonderful human being. You will be welcomed as a member of a familly. Always up to go have some drinks, telling you where to it, where to go to discover Sarajevo. She is an exemple of the friendlyness of the Bosnian people !

Perfect location, big private room, the facilities were super clean. The staff was really friendly, definitely the best thing about this hostel. I only regret not staying longer, will definitely come back.

Hostel staff was super friendly and took us to a jazz bar the first night that we really enjoyed. Super convenient location that is walking distance from many attractions in the city. We also had a private room with a bathroom ensuite and it was perfect. We didn't know our bed would be lofted but we didn't have a problem and they warned us during check in.

The toilets need to be improved and will be useful a shelf for the bunks bed.
The location just next to the old town and all the tourist attraction. The rooms are big and the beds are comforteable.

It is located in center of the city. Every attraction within walking distance. It was clean and warm. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I met wonderful people in there. I specially want to thank Svetlana for making my stay remarkable.

Everything was awesome. Great location, comfortable bed and great staff. Svetlana is the best person who I met in a hostel. She is cheerful, helpful and such a friendly. When I visit to Sarajevo again, I will stay there again definitely.

It was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff welcomed me very cordially. The hostel was very clean. They gave clean towels. The toilet and bathroom were inside my room and were very clean. The facility is located in a very central location. You can walk everywhere in 1-2 minutes. If I come to Sarajevo again, I know where I will stay. Thank you Franz Ferdinand family for everything...

Overall I liked everything, the beds are very comfortable, the facilities are great but I want to highlight the role of Svjetlana, she made me feel at home. Besides the fact that she is an excellent artist, she is a great person, who likes what she does and her work. Put one Svjetlana in your life and you will be happy. 27 out of 10. < 3

The shower pressure is not too good but given the price, it's OK.
All the staff are super super nice. It takes about 30mins from the bus terminal by walk. But the road is flat. You can use a relatively big locker.

Fantastic staff, especially on my check-in. Facilities were good, normal. I stayed only my last night in Sarajevo, and the hostel is located very close to a stop for the bus that goes to the airport.

Top bunk bed ladder a bit difficult. Limited reception time.
Location very central. Very friendly staff. Decor is interesting. The fluffiest and biggest towel of any hostel.

I don't usually write reviews but the staff were fantastic. They were so welcoming, friendly and really cared, they brought people together and I enjoyed some really great conversations! Cele you're a legend!! The room was spotlessly clean, I stayed in the Lucitania room and it was wonderfully spacious. There were no curtains on the beds but they were spread out. a good size and very comfortable so despite the lack of curtains they still felt private. Location is brilliant, close to tram and the centre of town, located down a quiet side street so I didn't encounter any noise and slept well.

That i had to leave....
Location close to Everything. Good for Socializing. Met quick other Travellers. Everything you need. Shops,Tram, close to Train/Bus. Nothing to.complain. Staff also very kind. Had a Bus very late in the Evening and they offered me to deposit my Luggage and have a Shower. Wow🌟. Coffe also free💫.
