Among all my trips to the Balkans, the accomodations in Šipovo was the best. It had everything: spacious two-bedroom units with bunk beds, a comfortable heater, a sofa, dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The water heater worked perfectly, ensuring hot showers during winter. The best part was the view: opening the door or window revealed a river and lush greenery, making it feel like paradise.

Our stay at Domacinstvo na kraju svijeta was nothing short of perfect. This country house, nestled near the springs of the Pliva River, offers a truly stress-free retreat in Šipovo. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, a lovely garden, terrace, and convenient on-site parking, creating an idyllic setting for relaxation. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the location. Being so close to the  springs of the Pliva River provided a serene and picturesque environment. We particularly enjoyed the unique dining spaces, with options to dine next to the running river or on a charming sort of bridge/terrace over the water. The sound of the flowing river whiledining was incredibly soothing and added a magical touch to our meals. The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food was another highlight; we were treated to delicious local dishes that showcased the rich culinary heritage of the region. The fresh, local ingredients and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made every meal a memorable experience. The accommodation itself was excellent. Our unit was well-appointed with air conditioning, a cozy seating area. The kitchen was fully equipped with an oven, fridge, stovetop. The private bathroom was modern and clean, featuring a hairdryer, and free toiletries. The provision of bed linen and towels was a thoughtful touch. Overall, our stay at Domacinstvo na kraju svijeta exceeded all expectations. The combination of a stunning location, exceptional hospitality, and delicious local food made it a perfect getaway. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Bosnia. We will definitely be returning! It was very clean. Food was delicious and perfect location to see River Spring. Owners of the property are very friendly and they had waiting for us with complimentary Šljivovica- brandy.

The heating. It could use a better heating because it gets cold in the mountains in the winter. The air-conditioning doesn't heat the room, but it was ok.

Fabulous location near a stream, in the middle of wilderness. Pliva springs and several other hiking locations and natural landmarks are nearby. Food and drinks are available. Apartments are fully equipped.

A privileged location in heaven above a river stream that surrounds the house. The owners of the house are wonderful. I spent the night and a half of the second day in this house. One of the best places on my trip in Bosnia. I recommend that you spend two nights and more than one who loves enjoyment and privacy. I took an apartment consisting of two rooms and a hall with a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower . The place is very clean and all equipment is available in the apartment, and they have a kitchen that also serves meals. I highly recommend staying in this house. I will book it in the future. Many thanks to the owner of the house with his kind family.

Amazing place, house surrounded by enormous quantities of running water from the largest spring in Europe, they say - impossible to describe, beautiful nature, very comfortable accommodation, ultra kind hosts fully dedicated to guests and great homemade food. Worth visiting if you wish to have a unique experience, something so far away from the hectic life nowadays…

The host left us alone with his parents (they do not speak english). He wrote us to sell us a breakfast. I asked for more information, and he told us the price (6 EUR, 12 BAM per person), without really explaining what it was including. We did not confirm, because we wanted to ask more information (in person), but the morning after the dad of the host came in front of the apartment with the breakfast. It was not including anything to drink, they brought us some water after a lot of time. Coffee was not included. I asked for some juice, and they brought us an orange soda (like a Fanta) which was of course not included. We ended up paying around 30 BAM for some scrambled eggs and some bread, with some packed cheese/meat. In Bosnia with 30 BAM you can have much, much more and with higher, higher quality. So, in the end, I felt like the host was simply try to sell us whatever he could (including more nights at his place) without really providing a good customer experience. No wifi password written in the apartment or in booking, we had to ask it. The road to get there is really bad (dirt and gravel, full of holes, not every car can get to the parking)

You sleep nearby the river. We asked for some fruit, and the host gave us two apples, that was nice.
