There are only 2 toilets and 2 showers, luckily the hostel wasn't that full, but I can imaging this causing some waiting times in the morning when all 16 beds are booked.

There is a sign in the common room that says "Where guests are treated like friends" and the owner, Igor, really lives by that. There is almost no need to go out as you can stay at the hostel and spend hours talking Igor and the other guests. The location is amazing, directly on the main pedestrian street (with a balcony perfectly for people-watching on a lazy afternoon - there is always something going on down there) and the beds are really comfy and with a nice privacy curtain.

Nothing not to like. Just please note that this hostel does not have a full kitchen for cooking facilities but has a kettle and refrigerator. Anyway, it is surrounded by cheap eating places.

You are greeted so nicely by Igor here, immediately giving that homely vibe. Igor is so well informed about Bosnia Hercegovina and is always present at the hostel ready to help you. The location is superb, only two steps away from eternal flame, 5 minutes pleasurable walk from old town and 30 minutes walk from train station. Very clean hostel and Hun, the volunteer was such great company. Really great experience and really enjoyed my stay here.

The staff is fantastic and really friendly, they will help you with whatever you need. It is the kind of hostel where you can talk to all guests and exchange experiences from travel or from life. Well located, close to everything, and very comfortable.

Nothing, but I needed some practice to open the entrance door because the key was old style.

The owner Igor was very friendly and we could enjoy local liqueur together. Curtain was provided for each bed. I could borrow a hair dryer. Everything was kept clean in the hostel though exterior of the building seemed old. Hostel owner may be Igor's calling.

I only stayed for one night

It was absolutely the best hostel experience. There's no need to describe what they have In the hostel (good luck trying to find anything they don't have). Everything has already been said multiple times in the reviews by other guests. I will just use this opportunity to thank the squad once again. Great place to stay, super hospitable host! Met some fab people and made some great memories. Igor and Han are legends! Make sure to try the food and drink recommendations! Beds are comfy and private. Bathrooms clean and tidy.

This was by far the most amazing hostel experience that I've ever had! The hostel is located directly in the Center of Sarajevo, the mattresses are probably better than mine at home. But this was not the main reason why I've enjoyed my stay there so much. The main reason is the owner of the hostel IGOR. He lives with the guests in the hostel and shares his life, knowledge and stories with the guests. That's what makes it so special and very comfortable. There is no kitchen, but Igor knows all the good places to eat well and cheaply. Thus I could experience the Bosnian kitchen thoroughly. If you see this Igor: Thank you soooo much!!!🫶 see you soon!

Actually i didn't needed that time but you can't cook in this hostel. There is no kitchen for you. Only the little things like coffe or sometings.Let me warn you about the sound. Sometimes when people get together and chat, it can be a loud environment. If you want to go to bed early, you can consider this. In addition, this is my word to the Turks; Do not bargain with Igor😅. If you want to bargain, you can bargain with Denis at kucha hostel. He is a very kind person will help you.😉😂

Igor's hospitality was very good.Thank you again, Igor. I felt like at home. Hostel's location was very good. Street view was also very good. For those who are a solo traveler, almost everything they need is considered. That's why I'm saying it's not the best but a pretty good place hostel.

Best Hostel stay I ever had. The owner (Mister Igor) is a very cool person. If you need help, guidance or a piece of wisdom he will be there for you. I have to mention the beds too: Sleeping in them feels like slowly sinking into the most comfortable cloud of warmth and cosiness. (They are really good) The location of the hostel couldn’t be any better. If you are ever lucky enough to visit Sarajevo, The Good Place Hostel is more than a Good Place to stay at - it’s the best!

A simply wonderful hostel to stay in. The owner, Igor, is very welcoming and helpful. He has created a lovely, comfortable and social hostel, and it was great to get to know him and other guests, and even go out for dinner all together one evening! The dorms and facilities also nice and private.

It was all good.

The location is excellent. The windows off the reception give a full view of the busy pedestrian street below. The post office is across the street and it’s also close to stores and restaurants. The owner, Igor, is an amazing source of information and is open-minded and willing to go above and beyond to make guests comfortable.

Great place to stay. Good location right in the city centre. Igor was a great host offering rakija on arrival and providing lots of local advice Rooms were quiet, wifi worked well, lockers a large size and warm showers. Booked for two nights, stayed for five in the end

The entryway, at first, can be confusing. But, after going thru it once (twice for some) all is well. Everything else was A+

You will arrive as a guest, but leave as a friend. Igor was one of the better hosts I've encountered in 80+ countries of traveling. Thanks for making our stay in Sarajevo a memorable one. The 4 day/nights wouldnt have been as fun without his educated suggestions based on LISTENING to our aspirations. *dont miss the bobsled track atop the ski lifts* Fun common area, clean facilities, wonderful shower. Really, and I mean really comfortable dorm beds! Without hesitation would stay here again—even though there's some cheaper options I felt the value received was well worth a couple dollars more per night. Location walkable to everything including airport bus 🚍
