Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomProbably not the best value for money, bathroom was fine but a bit tired. You are possibly paying for name & position.
Beautiful views from King room with bay view. Room was large & had coffee machine which actually worked well. Staff very friendly & helpful. The pool was mostly 4 ft so great for limited swimmers. The Lighthouse restaurant was attractive, again, pretty views over the garden & pool.

United KingdomThe sea defences were designed wrong. They may protect the imported sand but did very little to create create calm areas to swim. Neighbouring resort has much better beach and swimming enjoyment.
Breakfast tables were too slow to be cleared and so there were too many unused tables with a long queue of guests waiting for breakfast. The lady showing guests to their tables was too casual. This was our second visit to The Hilton and both times our wait for our order at Dinner was far too long. The waiter apologised for a mix up and gave us free drinks but it spoiled our evening. Our room was almost perfect with good quiet air conditioning. A credit to the staff.

United Statesit was dirty and needed lots of deep cleaning. The rooms in bathroom needs updating. The shower door was messed up and the shower head was gross and needed cleaned bad. I tried to clean it some so the water would come out properly. The elevators were nasty and needed major cleaning. The ice machine was disgusting and was afraid to use it. The one restaurant The Grille, had rack of lamb and it looks amazing but I got like 4 small pieces of meat off it and said something and they acted like it’s supposed to have no meat lol. I never been anywhere and only got 4 pieces of meat off something and they never credited me for it. definitely wasn’t happy about paying that much for something and still be hungry when I left. Also was disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working and didn’t have a bigger one. the water was cold in the pool and hot tub would’ve been nice
the spot was amazing and loved that you could get chairs on beach for free and fresh towels. the staff was great. loved the pool area. Liked that since we were Hilton honors that we got breakfast cheaper

United KingdomThe room could have been cleaner. There was a bunch of hair in the shower drain, and price tags over the floor in the bedroom. We booked online and received confirmation. At reception, the receptionist checked us in. When he was going to hand over the keys, the system suddenly announced that there were no rooms available. He rang round a few hotels, but no luck. He then handed over the room keys to the room we had booked. An airline had cancelled a late flight. Maybe there was a run on rooms.... which could have been sold at a higher price?
The location is wonderful. The room was large, with a balcony with sea view. Beautiful!

IsraelCheck out time at 11:00 is too early. Most flights out of Barbados are in the afternoon and gusts have to vacate their rooms many hours before they have to go to the airport. My request for a late check-out was denied. the convenience store in the hotel closed at 5 PM and was not open at all on Sunday. difficult to find well stocked grocery stores in the vicinity of the hotel
Splendid location but still need a taxi to reach Bridgetown center. Curiously, there are no hotels in the city and the Hilton and the Radisson were the two closest to the city. The food was excellent. The Coast to Coast day tour that I organized through the hotel was very good.

United StatesThe property including the rooms, needs lots of cosmetic improvements such as paint and decor. Attention to the quality of the workmanship is important. Our room had floor stain painted on the bathtub side and poorly carved out wood where safety locks were replaced. The outside hallway glass access doors to the room hallways need to be replaced - they don’t open or close properly. We will not recommend the more formal restaurant with the outside entrance. Service was cripplingly slow, food just ok. Staff was friendly but lacked proper training.
A terrific location on the beach. we also enjoyed the staff and food at the outdoor grill restaurant, especially Sharon. The hotel staff were all friendly and attentive.

PortugalLong queues for breakfast. It appears they take reservations from people outside the hotel for breakfast, so by the time the actual costumer arrives for breakfast, there is no space or the wait is extremely long. Very poor breakfast (no options of avocado, tomatoes, vegetables, non dairy and gluten free options, for example). Arrived 1h after suppose check in time (4pm) and and still had to wait almost an hour for my room to be ready. Overall the hotel looks tired and it could do with some renovations (tho the rooms actually look well updated).
Very close to a lot of different beaches and fun locations. Happy hour with music. Hayley from Suntours! La cabane restaurant! Staff was extremely friendly.

United StatesThe food options were not great value for money. The food at the Lighthouse restaurant was well made, but was not worth the 30-40 USD price tag. The rest of the food options included an obscenely expensive steak house and a pub with no real food on the menu other than a burger.
The rooms were great and the view was amazing. we enjoyed the pool and the beach as well. The staff were always polite and helpful.

NigeriaOver priced cafe and staff weren't the friendliest
Room was very clean and very comfortable. The rooms have definitely been renovated whilst the rest of the hotel looks tired. On my arrival I was a little apprehensive, from the reception it just looked dated but my room was a lot nicer than I was expecting (modern, nicely done and clean). During the day I could open the sliding doors and enjoy the views from the balcony. I was there for work so didn't use any of the other facilities but then they didnt look that appealing.
