“Lovely cabin in a quiet holiday park in the forest on the slopes of the Meuse valley. The terrace gives a free view of the tree crowns, no neighbours in sight. We thought it must be the best cabin in the park. It is recently renovated and decorated in retro 70-ties style, fitting to the original 70-ties vibe of the park. A short walk down the hill there are the Meuse (Maas) river and the interesting Waulsort locks. Both nearest villages have very good boulangerie-pattiseries 😊 Check-in was very easy, with a lockbox, and the owners are very responsive and friendly.”
“The only small downside is that if you’re not paying attention, you might miss the turn from the main road to the property, and the roads are extremely narrow for turning around. Other than that, it’s amazing, especially for couples (I was alone this time but I can extrapolate 😁). Home-made breakfast, confortable beds, cleverly fitted bathrooms. And if you’re lucky enough to get some sunshine, the value for money is a bargain.”
