Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Brussels! It was spacious, very clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was excellent—close to the downtown and Grand Place square . The host was welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again in the future

It is property with 2 rooms (for up to 2 persons per room) with shared bathroom. Dining room and kitchen are very big with all facilities and pleasant environment. It was my third time to stay in this property.

The pillows could have been more comfortable
The accomodation was very clean and extremely spacious. The kitchen, common area and bathrooms were very clean too. The host Anna was very sweet. We also left our luggage at the reception before check-in and after check-out without any issues. We walked almost everywhere from the house as well. Would highly recommend!

There is no lift as it is a private house, so if you get a room on the third floor with your heavy suitcase, you are going to feel it in your knees! There is a "curfew" 2300-0800 but it's actually a positive thing if you are a solo traveller because it's indeed very quiet through the nights but also through the days.
The place is well-located, walking distance (with a suitcase) from De Brouckère Metro Station, in a quiet street, in a quiet house. It's actually organised as an hotel so in fact you see the owner only the day of the check-in. The place is perfectly clean and the facilities are cleaned at least once a day so it's alway immaculate. Keep in mind bathroom is Shared but there has been no issue at all except waiting 40 minutes on Sunday morning.

The bathroom was cold so it was a bit hard to take showers in the evenings. But we visited during winter so:) Anyway, the bathroom is clean and has all the basics
A lovely place right in the middle of the city center. We could literally just walk anywhere around the city center without having to use the public transport. The room is clean, comfortable and the kitchen area is amazing with all the basic equipments and nice decorations. The hosts are super super nice. They are kind and answered all our questions when we first got to Belgium. Their fried rice is good:)

I liked everything about the apartment! The location is great, 15 minutes walk from Nord station, 15 minutes to the city center and all the attractions. It was clean, cozy, the atmosphere in the apartment is great. There was everything you need for lunch and breakfast. Best wishes to future visitors!

Great location to walk to everything. Felt safe staying alone and walking to the accomodation at night. Hosts were very friendly! Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was shared but was still very clean.

Only thing is the toilet which is cold or maybe because window were open and as asian we used to have bidet and in property theres only tissue so i suggest to have atleast small basin to be able to wash or bring travel bidet for yourself? If get you what i mean. Nevertheless, everything is brilliant!
Place is very homey vibe. Super clean. We were first timer and with all average accomodations we booked i recom that this is affordable and comfortable. Owner has been good with request and let us leave our things to be able to go around before we leave brussels.

The property was modest but had absolutely everything for a pleasant stay. Everything was exceptionally clean. The hosts were very polite, they guided us via WhatsApp how to get there. As an unexpected present we received a rice dish - very delicious! When we checked out we were offered to leave the luggage at the reception until we finished our final walk. Thank you! Great place!

Lovely room in the perfect location, about 30mins walk from brussels centraal station and 15 mins from brussels noord station. It's the perfect central location to all the touristy things to do. Staff were so friendly, so kind and accomodating. I couldn't have asked for better.
