Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsLoved all. Just a minor point: No luggage room being managed by the reception. There is one on -2 and need to put a 2eu coin. Didn't try.
Everything was brand new, clean, well designed. Great shower with water strength adjustable shower head. Good airco. Wonderful breakfast, diverse: Eggs / English breakfast and fresh warm butter croissants and a variety of breads. Great coffee & fresh orange juice. 5min walk to the train station. Nice terrass on the back side, next to the water. Overall design of the hotel is funky and stylish! Nice lobby to work from. Late check out abilities (for payment).

United KingdomNo cash! If you want a couple of beers, it’s on card. Then decide you want some €2 chocolate - card. Fine if you live in the EU but remember to add on the extra your bank will charge. Also, no milk in the room.
Good location and a short 10 minutes into town. Clean and funky in a very wish I was 30 years younger! Breakfast was excellent and a good start to the day.

GermanyThere is no service room, not even change the towels, if you want you have to pay eur 15 or wait 7 days to they do the room service, which looks a long time for me. Despite the room was very modern and new, it wasn’t clean enough.
The facilities are great as it is also a recently built Ibis Budget Hotel. Lobby area is very spacious and the bar are a plus as you can also seat outside and enjoy the good weather. to the city center is a 15/20 minutes nice walking or less than 10 minutes if you rent a bike.

ItalyWell, this is not about the hotel but walking from downtown to the hotel. In the evening, it's just there was weird people on the other side of the canal like drunk people but something not really about the hotel but about the area if you go by foot.
Everything was brand new. It seems that the hotels just opened, so it was clean, confortable and very enjoyable.

BelgiumI recently stayed at the brand new aparthotel and I was blown away by the experience! From the moment I walked into the lobby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made me feel right at home. My room was spacious, modern and impeccably clean. I loved having my own kitchenette, which was equipped with all the amenities I needed to cook my own meals. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were soft and high quality. The location of the aparthotel was also perfect with a huge underground parking. The on-site gym was also a great addition and allowed me to keep up with my fitness routine. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!

BelgiumAs you have a small kitchen and only a small window to freshen the room, the room smells very bad with all smells of people before. We really couldn't sleep because of the smell of scampi/fish.
The room is comfortable

United KingdomThe bed was an uncomfortable sofa bed - surprising given the price of the room. Staff tried to charge for the room twice and did not believe we had paid for the room so we had to show bank statements etc. first come first served is a bit useless for parking as it means you cannot guarantee a space on the day of arrival and departure - longish walk to the nearest pay car parks. The room had certain issues - leaking sink, towel rail not working etc
The location is good - an easy 20 minute walk. Relatively quiet as out of town.

United KingdomThe fact that it wasn't a bed but a bed settee so you had a sofa to sit on. The sides on the bed settee made it difficult for me to get in and out of bed. The answer from reception was book a disability room next time which i don't need, i just need a bed without sides on.
This hotel shares its reception with the Ibis hotel which I found out on arrival. It was easy to find and straight into the carpark with plenty of spaces. Not the cheapest of parking either. We had an apartment which said double bed but it turned out to be a bed settee with sides on which made it very difficult for me to get in and out of the bed as I have mobility problems at the moment. If I had know about this before I would not have booked this apartment. When I’m told I’m getting a double bed I expect 1. We wasn’t told we had to pay 100 euro deposit which took days to get back. It’s a nice place but was full of people on hen and stags do's. The apartment itself was nice and clean. We didn’t hear any noise from the rooms around us and believe or not the bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice but it’s 1 of them where you are expected to clear away your own rubbish afterwards so make sure you get a tray. It’s about a 20 minute walk into the city and easy to find your way. Make sure you visit the castle and listen to the audio, it’s so funny and well done. Normally I get bored listening to them but this was so good and well put together. The hotel has a storage area for your luggage but you have to pay for lockers. They also have a laundry room if you need it. I would only stay here again if I was given a room that wasn’t a bed settee. So disappointing.

NetherlandsThey didn't have one of my rooms ready and had to wait for more than 4 hours to discover later that they gave my room to other person. They gave me an upgrade and dinner at the end, but those hours waiting were terrible.

United KingdomOur booking was for a studio apartment for one night (room 2170)- • Double bed was a fold-up couch bed rather than a proper functioning double bed, fold up beds are never to the same quality as a proper double bed, felt cheated. Very misleading! • Bathroom was worn and faded looking • Hotel corridors dark and prison-like with an institutionalised feel • Reception mobbed with groups of noisy kids and carefree adults • On checking-in the hotel blocked off 100 Euro deposit on our credit card and then would not provide a receipt for this, not sure why they would need a deposit in the first place as they had my credit card to guarantee the booking. When we checked out the following day we were told that the hold would not be lifted until the day after (despite a note we received from the hotel when we booked stating that “this amount will be refunded to your account upon check-out”.) We protested as this would give them free reign (after we left Belgium to return to the UK) to charge our card with spurious deductions. We insisted that our room be checked and the hold be lifted there and then, and evidence on the lifting of the hold was to be provided. After some resistance from reception and our persistence they eventually obliged. • Guaranteed availability of parking was a key factor for us in choosing our accommodation and we raised this point in our special request when the booking was made. The hotel did not confirm that parking is actually on a first-come-first-served basis and could not be guaranteed. The message we got was “Parking can not be reserved in advance, however, we have two floors of underground parking so there is plenty of space. Kind regards, XXXX - Front desk”. Relieved that we arrived earlier in the afternoon pre-check in and parked up, after reading another review from individual who arrived later and couldn’t avail of parking as it was full. Again misleading! • Definitely not worth the 130 euro we paid and would not recommend
- It was bearable for one night but would have moved to different accommodation if we'd been booked to stay longer - Room was quiet
