Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaWe had a great breakfast when we were the only guests. It got full towards the end of our stay and the fridge became empty fast. The only suggestion we have is to add more food items relative to the number of guests.
Close to metro, easy to find, easy check-in in and warm welcome from the owners. Beds were very comfy, the decor was fab and the room was quiet even though the building is on a main shopping street. We would stay here again.

2 minute walk from Rogier Metro station in a shopping district. It cannot be more convenient. Very tasty decor throughout the property. Air conditioning.

CanadaNone.
The bedding is super great! Very comfortable. The location is convenient. Our host is very kind and thoughtful. A booklet she provided lists many of the main tourist spots with a short introduction to their history, which is particularly helpful. The breakfast is also good.

United StatesThere are two levels of stairs, so can be a workout with big or heavy suitcases.
All In One is a beautifully decorated place to stay. The service was excellent and we felt pampered. The breakfast was delicious with a full array of local eats. Bed was super comfy! The stay location allows for a quick walk to the city center; it is in the heart of the city. Good dining and shopping options all close by. The owner took great care of us!!

United KingdomWould have preferred a shower to use. Was very noisy even with the window shut as located on a very busy corner of the street.
Was a really central location. The room was spacious and had a bath and sinks in the room, with a separate toilet. The bed was really comfortable. The host was nice but we only met her on arrival. Breakfast was help yourself in the kitchen downstairs which was good also. Felt safe with 2 entry doors and cameras in the main property.

United StatesThere is no elevator, so you are bringing your suitcase up multiple flights of stairs. The breakfast is really just bread, croissants, coffee and juice. I had terrible wifi signal the entire time, which was unfortunate because I was working remotely and had to use up all my hotspot signal. I was in the silver room, which does not have an actual shower. It ended up being fine because you can just hold the shower head above you, but just an fyi. I also struggled with opening the front door sometimes, because they use a physical key and not a card, which stressed me outside sometimes haha.
Great location, only a few minutes walk away from the metro station.

NetherlandsThe room was very dark (with black walls and black linen) and there was very little light inside the room after sunset. The light on the bathroom ceiling didn't work and as a consequence the shower was mostly in the dark. The breakfast was minimal. The croissant was good, but there were hardly any fresh ingredients: the fruit basket didn't get replenished in the 4 nights I spent in the hotel and there weren't any vegetables nor eggs.
The location was convenient given my work destination. There was good water pressure in the shower.

AustriaThe hotel is located on a busy street and all windows are facing the street - if you are located in the first floor like we were, the noise until late in the evening can be very unnerving. The complementary breakfast constists of day old bread, some cheese and granola along with a coffee you can make yourself from the machine, so we clearly expected something else. What is more, the bathtub was directly in the room without any kind of shower curtain or similar. This might be an issue if you are travelling with friends or siblings and was rather weird for us too. On another note: as you have to schedule your arrival with the staff prior to the arrival date, we have been rather unhappy that we had to wait 30 mins in front of a closed door. That is not a good start to a vacation.
The location, the bed was rather comfortable - but only a queen size

AustraliaThe water pressure in our room was so poor. It was a marathon effort to wash toothpaste down the drain with the dribble from the tap. The shower was the same. Whilst a lift is not listed in the facilities, the stairs are not for the faint hearted. Very narrow and steep. We handled it okay but I'd warn others who are older or not as mobile to stay away. The breakfast is self serve, which is a great concept we've used at other establishments, but it relies on staff leaving the correct ingredients out. The first morning there was no butter, so ourselves, and other guests, used some cottage cheese on our toast. There were two types of cereal left out - one box was empty, and we were the first down for breakfast, so it was chocolate muesli for everyone. The second morning butter had arrived but there was no milk. So, no coffee or cereal for anyone. I notified the establishment (via the app) there was no milk at the start of the breakfast at 0800hrs. I walked a few blocks looking for a supermarket to buy milk and resolve the issue for us and the other guests. With no luck I bought coffees instead. A staff member responded saying, next time we should book into a facility with 24hr staff so we could be waited on and that we'd get milk if we were patient. We left for our train after an hour, after being made to feel it was our fault the milk was forgotten. Still no staff had arrived to replenish the milk for the other guests, with the breakfast sitting half over. Basically I'd forget the breakfast being a bonus as it was very hit and miss for us and the staff seem to be unable to accept responsibility and/or resolve issues quickly. Staff are so important to a business and luckily after 48 different BnBs on our European holiday, this was the only establishment that was a problem.
Comfortable bedding and a location close to the hub of Brussels. The room was also quiet and the air conditioning worked well.

SpainThe stay was good and the employee was very attentive and kind, but the check-in restrictions caused us stress and meant that we had to spend 60 euros in a taxi to get there from the airport. We think that if they maintain such a restrictive check-in policy, they should allow more room for cancellation with a refund. It was really stressful trying to get there on time. Despite the comforts afterwards in the accommodation, it was not worth it. We won't be back.
