The paint smell of the room is crazy. It makes me feel so ill. The noise of the bar downstairs is torturing at night. Sound insulation is very bad. Basement Kitchen smells like an old towel that has mildew on it. Disappointing experience.

Not the correct number of lockers in each room compared to beds, so has to store my stuff in a different floor. The kitchen was beyond unclean to the extent that I cleaned the pans before cooking…. There was not originally a duvet on my bed so they had to find me one from somebody else’s as clearly there weren’t enough.

Good location (although this means more noise). Nice staff. Able to leave my bag behind. Breakfast included.

I had an awful stay here. It was way too loud at night until about 4/4:30am- I know it is because of the location but there is no real warning about it. Reception closes at 8pm so you cannot get any help past then. They provide phone numbers to call when reception are closed but I tried calling both numbers (at only 8:45pm) as I needed some help but no one picked up. There was 1 toilet with no windows/ventilation so it was horrible anytime I needed to go. The showers were poor. Check in is extremely late (4pm). The dorm rooms were tiny and they put 7 of us in an already small 6-person dorm. Even though it seems cheap, it is still expensive for the poor service and amenities.

The location is central and there is a cool common area in the basement. Still- don’t stay here.

Never again. The room is dark. There is a bad smell in the room and it is very very hot inside. There is no proper ventilation. The bed mattress is covered with some plastic or rubber material which is very noisy and unpleasant in touch. The bed sheet is too small to cover whole mattress. Cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms leaves much to be desired. And finally, I had a problem with my door card. It worked well for the front door, but it stopped working for my room door, twice during three days. It was very inconvenient, especially that both times it stopped working were in the night, when the reception was already closed. I have tried to contact somebody by the phone numbers listed on the reception door but there was no answer. On WhatsApp I did not get answer for over 10 days now. If nobody from my room opened the door when I was knocking, I would had to sleep on the couch in the common area. Unthinkable. ACH, if you have such problems with proper card programming, then at least invest in 24/7 reception. And please clean up more often and better.

The location is for sure the biggest advantage of the hostel. It is located right on the market square, so it is close to everything. Another positive aspect is breakfast. It is a standard buffet with enough diversity of food. The last thing I want to notice is many showers. There is never a queue, so you can jump in any time.

The hostel was dirty and disgusting. The basement, where you park your bikes, have your breakfast, cook and was very humid with mold. Hard to find toilet paper in the toilets. The showers smelled like sewage... I think it was the worst hostel I ever stayed in my life

If you are traveling on weekends, I don't recommend staying there because the night club is right under the hostel. It's very noisy and the bass shakes the walls.

First, the manager (I believe he's Indian, but I'm not sure of his name) was incredibly rude and at times even aggressive. Our experience with him culminated in an awful check-out process where he basically kicked us out of the hostel without even letting us take a shower. The cleanliness of this place is horrendous. It’s clear they don’t launder the bed linens between guests, which is just disgusting. The entire place feels dirty and poorly maintained. Sure, the price might seem attractive, but trust me, it’s not worth it. The experience was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. You’ll thank me later.

The only positive thing about this hostel is its location—it's very close to the main sights and the city center. On a positive note, there’s a Brazilian guy named Tom who works there. He’s the only person who seems to understand how to treat guests properly. He was gentle and professional, a stark contrast to the rest of the staff.

one of the staff was really rude i didnt like the way he was shouting at me for just latterly nothing more than he though im not a resident of the hotel without checking or asking politely, it was the Indian skinny guy btw.

Facilities - No charging points near bed, some bed do not have the ladder to climb up. Could have been much more organised. The loud noise from the club under the hostel makes it difficult to sleep and we had to change room which was the worst part.

Wouldn’t recommend. Unsecure place. They were out of locks for the lockers when I arrived. I said that was fine because I brought my own. I used mine to secure my valuables including my passport, camera, cash and extra credit card. I found out after the first night that the lockers only work with their custom locks, and I’m not sure why they don’t have more than enough for every locker. Turns out I left my valuable unsecured for the night, and if I wanted to stay another night it would be the same. I decided to leave and stay elsewhere, and told the front desk the reasons. I asked if I could get a refund for the second night given I had to leave for security reasons. They said to send a message through booking.com which I did only to receive a short reply saying “locks are provided”. I followed up again with a detailed explanation and I got zero reply. Don’t stay here. Their customer service and security sucks.

Staff was friendly and incredibly accomodating. In particular, the female staff helped me put on the bed sheet and gave recommendation on a tourist site that many have missed out on.
