Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The rooms are a little small, and the breakfast was a little bit expensive.
The staff were truly the nicest I've met at any hotel I've ever stayed at. It was easy to access from public transportation. The views from the room are beautiful, and the breakfast had good variety. There was free coffee and tea all day. They provided early check-in and luggage storage after I left, too.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel provides free flow of coffee and tea throughout the day, which was super nice. The neighborhood is verdant and peaceful, just a short walk to the Old Town.

Location. 3-5 minutes to several tram stations. 20-25 minutes walking to the city centre. A quite district. Pets friendly and for reasonable price. An underground parking as well as street parking space are close to the hotel.

the breakfast buffet is €15 pax. This is really costly.
Th rooms were nice and with a great view. the location is in the corner of the city but it was nice, quiet area. we could see the court building and the playgrounds from the room. i loved my stay

There was too much light coming in with curtains closed and the ventilation in the room I could not switch off..

Our room was VERY small. Also, no sheer/privacy curtains.
The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Also, the TV was a Smart TV so we were able to cast Netflix from our phones onto the television; an unexpected treat.

The thinness of the bed, but that can be justified with the small room.
The staff was nice and responsive. The breakfast was balanced and diverse. There are a good amount of necessities that are basic and essential.

There were some problems with disconnecting wi-fi, but it was sorted out very quickly.
We requested a quiet room and it was very quiet with a lovely view of the Palace of Justice. Free tea or coffee in the lobby are also an asset. Welcoming, friendly and attentive reception staff made the stay truly pleasant.

Comfortable, clean small hotel. Nice shrouding, quiet and green. Breakfast was fresh, not a big choice but very good quality. Coffee machine for unlimited use for guests. Very polite and helpful staff. Recomend

some areas of the room were a bit grubby and dirty. scratches on walls and stains.

They allowed for booking adults and kids however during the checking the lady at the front desk bluntly rejected my entry even after they took my money for the whole booking. It was an horrible experience, as I came all the way from germany to visits Antwerp but without booking I had to return back to Germany

Only it has 20 parking places Had to go to public parking (well only 3min from there) And I forgot my phone charger there, called back 7h later- nobody found it 😞

Top location for me , quiet neighbourhood and at the same time not far from the city centre. Comfortable bed and good breakfast as well . I will be there again .

First of all went into argument with receptionist that they dont issue invoices, which was later Sorted by manager, on second day of the visit emergency speakers started making very high, but low noise which couldnt let me sleep, first receptionist called me crazy, later listened themselves but didnt fix it until my departure, so i paid for nights without normal sleep.
