Everything was perfect, starting the owners, beds, breakfast together with cute animals, even owls, which was a great adventure for the kids. You can see the care in every corner.

I honestly can't think of anything!

Such a lovely warm welcome from Stefan, we felt like true guests to the house rather than paying customers. Getting to meet all the animals and the real attention that Stefan showed our kid, getting her to help with feeding time and letting her play with the dogs and interact with the birds was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful as well and the rooms were spacious and comfortable and incredible value for the price. We often look for places to stop when driving between the UK and Germany which was why we chose this B&B, but I will consider this as a destination in its own right in the future.

The best breakfast we had in a b&b. Really lovely host who is very knowledgeable about the area and can provide excellent advice where to eat, what to do, where to bike ride.

From the outside, this B&B appears to be a normal home, but inside you will find gracious hosts who take a real interest in making you feel welcome. The common area has all you would need (e.g. games and drinks) and behind this is a real secret garden, complete with a pond, trees, grass, a jacuzzi, tables, fish, owls, chickens, and friendly dogs and cats. This B&B is perfect if you are looking to relax and feel like welcomed guests. It is particularly good if you are an animal lover. My daughter had a blast - playing with the dogs, seeing the birds and feeding the fish. Breakfast was also fantastic, and restaurant tips were proved valuable.

Nothing to complain , everything like more than our expectations.

The room and the facilities were excellent everything was very clean , spacious room and bathroom. The view and the gardens really amazing . We spent couple of hours outdoor .

Our stay at 't Solveldje was outstanding! Stefan is a great host who made us feel like at home since 1st minute. He speaks 5 languages, so communication was never a problem! We stayed in a private room in the garden, with access to our private bath and a shared sauna and jacuzzi (During our stay the other room was empty, so it was basically private as well). Our small dog also enjoyed his stay and met Stefan's pets (cats and dogs). The breakfast was very good with plenty of options! Also Stefan was kind to introduce us to his owls and even let us pet them.

I loved everything! The place is beautiful, the room had everything I needed and was nicely decorated, modern and clean. There was a sauna between my room and another one but it was too late and I was too tired to enjoy it (next time!). Breakfast was amazing, I’m vegan so I asked them in advance if I could have had some vegan options and they answered not to worry, they would have prepared a vegan breakfast, but when I saw the table set in the morning I couldn’t believe it, there was food for a half dozen people! And with both sweet and savory options. But the best part was their hospitality, I had some very nice convos with Liesbeth the night of my arrival and with Stefan during breakfast on next morning. And Jim and Max and king Theo (some of their pets, if I remember their names correctly) were all so friendly and lovely! Next time I hope there would be a better weather to get acquainted with the owls too! Thank you again, everything was perfect and I simply felt I was staying at some friends’ house.

Perfect place to be! I just loved the room and the quiet place! This hotel is like a little diamond. Nobody will image such a place behind this building! Owls and Jacuzzi included! I enjoyed my shor time there a lot! Perfect breakfast with a nice speech with the owners!

This isn't a complaint, but maybe helpful for someone: If you have a pet allergy this might not be the right place for you.

This was a proper privately run bed and breakfast with many personal touches. We loved that it did not have the commercial anonymous feel that many places have. Our host was really helpful and went above and beyond with help and support and showing our children the animals. The breakfast was also really fantastic. We were very glad that there was availability when we were in Bilzen. It was close to the train station, which is what we were looking for.

Nothing to not like in this great little guest house.

Everything was perfect! Host was charming and helpful in every way possible. The garden is amazing with a collection of owls, chickens, buzzard, little Jack Russells and cats. Perfect for spending some quality time in. Breakfast was amazing, even though we only had time for a quick one as we had to leave early. We will be staying here again, even if it is just to enjoy the breakfast and garden.

The hosts truly went above and beyond to make my stay and order of business in Bilzen, the best it could be!

That we couldnt stay longer.

I've stayed in many B&Bs and Hotels in many places but nowhere quite compares. The rooms are spacious and quiet and just lovely. Breakfast was substantial with everything you could want. It was a special occasion for my parents and Stefan went out of his way to make it so for them. Sauna was just so nice and relaxing with zen music and insence burning. Just exceptional. Can't wait to go back and stay longer next time.
