Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe fact that we didn’t have a bathroom door was a little bit weird, but manageable. A small coffee machine or instant coffee would have been nice
The location was very nice, close to the city center and clean.

Bed, atmosphere. First we had a room where the toilet was in the room as well, but the host was able to change this for us without any issue. Thank you so much for that!

UkraineIt feels like the house is old, and the rooms would benefit from some cosmetic repairs.
Very good location, beautiful and picturesque area. The old authentic building doesn't have an elevator, which might be inconvenient if you have luggage. There was no one at the reception when I arrived, but the instructions on how to find the key and check in were quite clear and easy to follow. Check-in is suitable for those who don't want to wait long at the reception. The room is incredible, with a huge bed and a bathroom like something out of a movie about empresses. It was a bit chilly, but the complimentary wine left in the room warmed me up. The room is quite spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows. The breakfast was excellent; the only issue was a miscommunication. I specified during the reservation that I would be staying alone, but they prepared breakfast for two. However, the staff handled it with understanding, and we found a solution. I was more than satisfied with the breakfast on my birthday.

NetherlandsWe chose the room (deluxe nr 2) because of the open bath, which we enjoyed, but we were a little surprised by the toilet: no toilet door and no ceiling. I stayed there with my daughter, which was fine, but wouldn't recommend for couples/romantic stay. :) An extra standing mirror would be convenient.
Me and my daughter enjoyed a nicely decorated room (deluxe nr 2) with open bath which gives it a nice touch. B in Antwerp is situated in an elegant historical building in a lovely area and comes with a very welcoming and friendly host: good communication and our room was ready before check-in time. Also we were welcome to charge our phones for a while in the lounge after check-out time, which was great.

NetherlandsOverall, we felt that the bed could be comfier if it were not two separate single mattresses put together (as these create a hole in between them which is uncomfortable to lie in). Also hooks to hang our jackets on would have been nice. In room 2, we would have appreciated doors for at least the toilet section. Moreover, we did find it a bit scary to exit the bathtub as it has no carpet under it and there is only little platform space left to put your feet on. For someone who is shorter like me, it was especially tricky. In room 6, we would have appreciated a curtain on the small bathroom window, because that window made it hard to completely darken the room and the door separating the bedroom and bathroom is made out of glass. This is of course only a problem to people who struggle to sleep with light like me. The entrance to the bathroom is almost at head level with the bed, meaning that light was shining directly into my eyes. There was construction going on at the neighbours and on the roof and that windown made us feel quite exposed when we were using the toilet. A general trashcan would also be nice:) These are mostly small things for us, the only thing that truly bothered us was the construction noise which made us leave the hotel every day as fast as we could after waking up (from it) and made us stay out for long. This is out of the hotels hand though.
We got to stay in room 2 and room 6. They were both incredibly beautiful and elegant. The bathtub in room 2 was slightly more comfortable as it affords back support. The rooms have a TV with channels (although they only worked in room 6). We absolutely loved the central positioning of the bathtub, the balcony and the high ceiling of room 2. On the other hand, we appreciated the carpet under the bathtub of room 6. The room also felt bigger in size, has the toilet and sink clearly separated from the bedroom with a door, and seating spaces. The host leaves a wine bottle, chocolate and water in each room, which is fantastic. The lobby has a coffee machine, tea and milk, and chocolate and cookies to have with it. We were definitely addicted to that chocolate haha. Something that really impressed us were the free to use umbrellas in the corridor! Moreover, the host is incredibly fast at replying and she always felt easily accessible to me. She is very lovely and warm too:). Lastly, there are cafes and restaurants in the area, which we were grateful for. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay!

ArgentinaIf you’re a light sleeper, being earplugs because there is not much isolation between the hallway and rooms. The hotel is small, so the noise is not too bad, but if other guests arrive after you’ve gone to bed you are sure to wake up.
Beautifully decorated rooms and perfect location to discover Antwerp. Bonus points for the 2 in 1 shower!

Belgiumthe remote control for the airconditioning was not working. first I thought that the batteries were dead which was not the case. if batteries are changed or some previous occupant removes them the remote control needs to be reset an set up again. i had to sort this out a 1 am. maybe a thing for the owners to check before a guest arrives.
it was clean and very nice. well situated for our purpose.
