We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BelgiumThe only downside I can think of was the toilet/shower room which does not have a door. So if you poop or pee, your partner hears it. Perhaps it is fine for those who have been together, but it can be awkward for new couples and/or parents with children/siblings. But this can easily be "fixed" by the guests themselves as you can either put headphones on or leave the room temporarily :)
The staff were amazing! They made us feel comfortable and cared for. It felt like being at their home because they cared so much about us. The food is delicious and we really loved the huge variety of beers! It is also a unique experience in Kortrijk, so being on Ahoi makes you feel like you are elsewhere. As a bonus, you have a wonderful view on the sunrise and sunset. I highly recommend Ahoi to anyone who wants to experience something different than a typical hotel.

RomaniaThat we had to leave...! :) The place was perfect to our purpose and duration of staying.
It is a perfectly placed location: 5 minutes walk to the Broel Towers, short and pleasant walk distance to Grote Markt or any significant place in the centre of Kortrijk. The visit to St. Martin Cathedral was so rewarding to us - somebody was playing at the organ, so the atmosphere was calm and warm. Good breakfast (just what we needed for the morning ahead) prepared by Pedro (thanks for your jokes, Pedro! ). Captain Stefan prompt and welcoming. Good note for the bathroom - big enough considering the total space of the cabin. Was such a nice feeling to wake up in the morning with a direct view to the calm waters of Leie.
