Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaThe entire facility inside is a bit outdated, and the hidden cost of having a dog is 20e per day per dog, which is a bit too much...
The facility looks really nice and the view was great.

GermanyThe shower was small. There was a fly screen on one window, however there were holes in it.
The room was very spacious and offered a lot of storage. We had a double bed and a single bed which we didn't use.

GermanyRest by the sea is always pleasant. Of the rooms you can only live in the studio - it is comfortable and has a small kitchen with all the equipment. Our room was very quiet and clean. Very uncomfortable shower cabin and weak water pressure. In general, you can live if you abstract from the old Soviet renovation in the lobbies, corridors and restaurant, unfriendly staff and the trip to the beach through the highway and tram lines. Swimming in this area of the beach is also prohibited.

NetherlandsThe hotel is quite big and thus on a busy day the room is available for checkin later than expected. The receptionist could not even promise 5pm.. But we could leave our luggage and wait. Everything else was fine
Good location, the beach is just across the main road. The staff was quite friendly and the room was clean. We did not buy breakfast so no comment about that. Free parking!

NetherlandsRoom was bit congested for us even though it had 2 bedrooms but I guess this is the layout of such quadruple rooms. In the Cafeteria there were not much options for Vegetarian
Location is amazing. You are just 750 meters away from the Beach. The Tram has a stop just outside Crosendonk which makes it super convenient. I played mini golf with my family as well as kids enjoyed the open play area. It was really easy to borrow a hot water kettle against some caution money We reached earlier and I requested for an early check-in, looking at my 2 kids the receptionist arranged for that. We were really grateful.

United KingdomGranted we stayed in February, so was well out of season. If you wanted food at the hotel it was a considerable price, as it was a set menu. But there is plenty of choices in the town near by.
Perfect for overnight stop for us on the way to Germany. Very close to the town for anything needed. The hotel receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. We are a family of 6 and the room was perfect, also clean and had everything you needed for what I thought was a very good price.

BelgiumI did not realise it was mostly for pensioners, so we felt like "intruders"; although this might have been "seasonal"? I don't know. The outside of the venue is really appealing, but the inside is nothing what you'd expect. There have been no major renovations for several decades, and while everything is clean and works well, it does not have the kind of feel you'd imagine when looking at the building from the outside.
Great location (easy to access, close to the Blankenberge seaside and not far from Brugge). The room was spacey and had many beds (a bunk bed for my kids - really a treat!) The kitchenette had everything for cooking, although this was not mentioned in the announcement. We were not ready for it, so it would have been great to know for us to accommodate for our special food preferences.

Great for a stop over to visit Bruge, takes about 30 mins to travel into the centre with minimal walking using public transport. We were greeted by a lovely guy who had a great sense of humour.

GermanyThe rooms are basically clean but the bathroom, especially the shower was gross ;-( The drain was clogged, mold in every corner and you could tell by the orange stains that it hadn’t been cleaned properly for a long time. Also this time the mini fridge was plugged out so that we couldn’t keep our stuff refrigerated which was very unfortunate. It was also moldy and dirty from the inside. All in all the stay was okay for one night but only if you don’t want to shower. We won’t stay there again if their cleaning standard continues to be that bad, I am afraid.
It has family rooms available, also for larger families and is also close to the beach.

SwedenSad to see such potentially good hotel badly maintained. No love for details in the hotel reminding me of Dutch student corridors. Boring amenities and parking lot overgrown by bushes and weeds. Room acceptably clean with basic interior, but old beds lacking mattrass covers, exposing thier rough history. Very expensive breakfast so skipped it and went to nearby super market instead.
Nice, quiet location next to great dunes and tram just by the hotel.

United KingdomThere was no kettle in the room so I needed to boil a pan of water to make tea! Very important to us brits is our cuppa after a long journey! Bathroom was not very accessible for my disabled partner, and we did ask if it was. Very tight for his chair and no rails. No disabled parking near the entrance
Clean, tidy, convenient stop gap. Quiet location despite being near the beach. Great beer! Friendly and very helpful staff. Thank you

BelgiumCould have been cleaner and would benefit from better maintenance. Found sand on the bathroom floor when arrived and the floor was not cleaned during our three-day stay (this has been highlighted by other reviewers). Check-in time at 4pm and check-out time at 10am disappointing, but €25 to extend check-out until 3pm was fairly reasonable. Inventory price list for kitchen utensils totally unreasonable. I had to wash pots/pans, dishes and cutlery before use, as not very clean. Kitchenette extractor did not work.
Very friendly and efficient staff, comfortable room, very good location, easily accessible via public transport, particularly for someone on a wheelchair. Good facilities, including mini-golf, football pitch, basketball court, snooker, ping pong, but unfortunately no swimming pool.
