Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Belgiumsome smaller issues, restaurant can be quite crowdy, because it is very popular
interesting features: coffee pads in room, but the machine on one location on the floor in hallway. Ironing facilities ? in a seperate ironing room on the corridor. Clever. Extensive breakfast with live cuisine

United KingdomThe bathroom was small for a family room and very tired looking. Initially we thought it wasn’t clean but it was actually just stained/worn in places. Perhaps due a renovation soon. Aircon wasn’t working which wasn’t ideal as it was hot this weekend, staff were informed and acted promptly to contact engineers but unfortunately it didn’t work for the duration of the stay.
We couldn’t fault the location, almost everything we did was within walking distance of the hotel. Very good value for money based on the location alone! Supermarket on the hotel doorstep was handy too. Lovely decor and friendly staff.

United StatesWhen I wanted to open the window for air, it didn’t open properly and left me little room to enter my bed. As well, there were limited towels (no wash cloths for soap).
The people were so nice and friendly, the beds were very comfortable! Great location.

ItalyThe room had a few damaged pieces of furniture with some stains here and there but acceptable for sure. There was a discount for a museum that didn't work out because it expired 4 years ago, it should have been removed. There is no openable window, but great noise cancelling. There is no window in the toilet.
I love the district where it is immersed. Great coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and supermarket next to it. It is close to the beautiful main square and amazing surroundings. The room was big and with a great bathroom. Nice desk, nice vibes and nice style overall. Good cleaning. Nice welcome basket and they let us do a late check out (1hr and half) without any problem.

United KingdomIt's not so clear when you arrive where to go as you have to cross a restaurant to get to the hotel counter . Some staff member were not overly friendly. The bed are extremely soft, some member of our party could not sleep well due to that. You can hear the hallway pretty well in the rooms. The air dryer worked one out of 2 time.
The rooms are gorgeous and clean. the amenities like the soaps and little plus feel luxurious. We also loved the bar in the hotel. The coktail and staff there were great

GermanyThe room was a bit dusty and could have been cleaner. The bathroom equipment felt a bit outdated, and there was an issue with water from the shower spilling out into the bathroom and even into the corridor. Our room was also quite small, which made it a little uncomfortable at times. While these things didn’t ruin our stay, I believe these areas could use some improvement for a more pleasant experience.
The hotel is located in the city center, very close to major attractions, which made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The interior is beautiful and original, with a unique design that creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and diverse, offering a wide range of options to start the day off right.

United StatesHallways are very dark…for young eyes no problem but for older people difficult to see everything.
Location great! Room, bed, stillness, en suite bath all excellent. Can not comment on b’fast as we ate at the fabulous cafe and bakery very close to hotel. Restaurant was packed full every night but again, we ate elsewhere…so i have no idea but would guess it is excellent given the local people eating there.

United KingdomFacilities in the room were just a little lacking. Specifically limited storage space for clothing/suitcases etc, no iron and no opportunity to be able to make tea/coffee in the room (but this could be done at a station on the floor below). Would still choose to stay at the hotel again if in Brussels though.
The location was excellent as was the decor of both the room and the hotel in general. Restaurant in the hotel offered an excellent breakfast and the evening meal there was exceptional.

FranceBad soundproofing, some amenities were lacking or troublesome ( ex: hairdryer randomly stopped working sometimes ). Curtains a tad bit too short to cover the whole window ( early wake up in the morning if you can't sleep unless it's pitch black. ). Mattress was a bit soft.
Perfect location, beauty of the room and theming of the hotel, bathtub in the bathroom ( which I had requested ). Friendly staff!
