The main issue is that the aircon did not work and the room was really hot. I had to leave the window open and normally it seems a very quiet area but the night I stayed one French couple decided to have a domestic outside the bedroom. This is not the fault of the hostel obviously but if the aircon worked perhaps one could close the window to lessen the noise from outside.

The rooms were great. I stayed in a 4bed female dorm. There were plugs in each bed so perfect for charging your phone etc. The bathroom was really nice although no hairdryer. There was free breakfast which was great and the location is perfect!

It is very noisy place. Even though we have room for 2 people we heard ringing phones or alarms at the other rooms even during the night. It was hard to sleep. There wasn’t any soup in the bathroom, even to wash hands

Despite being a hostel, there were no cooking facilities, just a small fridge and a microwave. However, the crockery and cutlery were able to use. There was no elevator.

The location, the hostel was in a quite area but at the same time close to the city center.

There were 5 ppl staying in a 4 female dorm that I booked. It has a total of 7 beds in the room. The stay was still nice, just something unforeseen.

Few design flaws I guess with the rooms: - Only one shower room in a dorm of 7 females, which also had the one basin and one mirror. Problem because you can’t use basin to wash your hands after toilet if the shower room is in use, girls using the mirror to do their make up makes the wait for a shower long. - room needs another rubbish bin - no wifi in rooms

It was very hot in the room, the air conditioner doesn't seems to be working efficiently, maybe can improve with fans. The lockers in the room seems to need euro coin to lock, but I didn't have change with me so couldn't use the locker.

The staff is very friendly. The room is clean and well maintained. Offer cheaper tickets for the Gravensteen and boat trips, recommend to use it if you plan to go on these trips.

The rooms were 29° with no aircon and the windows do not open. That made it so unbearable.

We only had 2 cards to enter the room (and 1 had to stay inside to provide electricity). Also, the top beds were moving a lot because they are connected and the mattresses were a bit old. The bathroom is really nice but a bit tiny (we were especially missing a towel to put on the ground and some soap).

This hostel is well located near the Graventeen and the historic city center. We checked-in online, so we could get settled faster on site. The staff is really nice and provided some ideas of activities to do (free walking tour) and restaurants. We stayed in 2 rooms of 4 with a private bathroom. The rooms are convenients for a group, it was really quiet and we had a peaceful night. The breakfast was amazing :) And ghent is breathtaking ! We had a nice stay :)

Mosquitos in the room at night (I was bitten lots!). Windows were open when I arrived and first to check in. If cleaners are asked to open a window, perhaps one window in each room could have a mosquito screen?

Very friendly staff, good facilities (bike storage room). Good breakfast included and nice area of Ghent (quieter than the main tourist streets).

the hostel was well placed for sight seeing. Everything was well organised and spotlessly clean. our private room was spartan but had everything that was needed - and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful
