Room was basic with spilled liquid stains on the cheap old carpets. Room was as hot as a sauna and could not find anyway of opening a window other than the main window which opens to the corridor!!!

Best thing was the proximity to the town square with its restaurants and bars. Great.

There was AC or a fan to cool down the room. Lots of mosquitoes in the property and no nets installed. Vegetarian option should have been offered or inquired about special needs.

Outside of the Hotel does not promisse a lot. Hotel is old and that you can see also inside the room. For that price you expect a bit more. In the room was quite hot, so we had to sleep with open window, but unfortunatelly the cars passing by (a lot!!) did not let us sleep. So if you expect quiet neighborhood this Hotel is not your place.

Hotel in the center. Room and bathroom were clean! There were 2 pillows so that is good (every pillow was bit flat). The reception man was very, very friendly, so thank you!!

The single room initially allocated was ok but a little tired and lacking ventilation. The manager kindly upgraded me to a superb suite which had become available.

No staff on site to check me in. Lots of lamps not working. Elevator not working, Difficult to find staire. Unable to read wifi code, sent message about this but never received a response.

Quite a tired looking building externally. Confusing access arrangements when I arrived and a curious absence of staff (until breakfast).

A huge room with a comfy bed and excellent en suite facilities. Breakfast was nice and I enjoyed the classical background music - more places should do this!

The rooms are a little outdated and could use some refurbishment. However all comfort was available and bathrooms were great.

Very warm welcome when we arrived by bike with the whole family. Breakfast was excellent and with enough choice.

Finding the place was difficult because of the one-way system. The parking is supposed to be secure, but when we were there the automatic gate was broken. Not a very big deal, the crime rate in Diest is not high, but there was no need for the zapper that they lent us. However - we were lucky to have any parking at all!

This is a very quirky hotel, you need to leave a trail of breadcrumbs to find your way around! It's located right in the middle of town, so it's easy to get around (once you find somewhere to park the car, but that's another story). You will need your Flemish, nobody seems to speak English or much French either, but that's your fault not theirs!

Could not connect to free WIFI Access code supplied when booking for front door. Keys in sealed envelope at reception. No staff available when checking in, very disappointing as i required private parking for my bike Nobody answered phone when i required assistance.

not enough parking we chose this as we were in transit and only 5 spaces we had to park on road which was ok as free but our car was vandalised during the night not serious but would impact our decision to stay in this area again!

It was clean and easy to access. We we’re camping near by but out tent got flooded due to the heavy rain so we had to book a last minute stay. It was exactly what we needed, large room with a large bathroom. Perfect place to just readjust after such a trip.

We were greatly disappointed when we arrived at the hotel. Booked a parking spot on the hotel premises two months in advance, to discover upon arrival the spot was in fact not available (even after they sent confirmation two days earlier). on a Saturday afternoon in the city center it was not easy to find annavailable parking spot! All of this caused delays in our planning. Moreover, my mother who is not very mobile had to walk quite some distance between the hotel and the car. The hotel itself has definitely seen better days, it’s pretty run down and needs an urgent makeover. The lighting in the rooms, especially in the bathroom, is not sufficien (and a bit eary), I could hardly put on any make-up, because it was so dark in the bathroom. No storage or hooks whatsoever in the bathroom.
