Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was totally unsuitable for a senior. The spiral staircase was really difficult to manage with a suitcase and I never saw another person. I arrived late and there was no staff around. I had to let myself in and let myself out again without ever seeing anyone!
I didn't like it.

NetherlandsThe rooms were very nice and big. Hugo is a great man, who has knowledge all about Brussel and also give you tips. The streets look dodgey, but I can't tell you that most of the people we met were extremely kind and willing to help. We went for a visit to Bond In Motion and of course the city centre. This is the place to be. Close to the center and parking is okay. You pay for a full day at the hospital parking 18 Euros and on Saturdays 3 Euros. You can also park your car on the street. Although i wouldn't recommend that. Since there is a lot of breaking in unfortunately. So if you want a great weekend in Brussels Come to Hugo !

RomaniaThe stairs are very narrow and spiral, you can not carry your luggage on them, you have to carry him in your arms and will not be easy. Noises are heard from the walls, they actually crack. When someone walks in the room you hear from your room as if the house is falling apart. (I have a video when our friends are walking on their room) The furniture is very old. We found bugs in our room. The room from the last floor is in the attic and you feel like you're going to hell when you go down the stairs. The towels were very dirty. (I have pictures) Everything cracks: the stairs, the furniture, the walls. If it rains you feel like you are outside. In the last day we saw a mouse in the kitchen. I am very disappointed and I hope I'll help some people to not do our mistake.

MaltaAccess to the room is via a metal spiral staircase which is not comfortable to climb with luggage.
The property is just an easy 10-15-minute walk from Brussels Central Station and in the antiques district. My room was comfortable and very prettily furnished. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and the property is equipped with a good kitchen.

United KingdomA bit tricky getting a heavy suitcase up and down the spiral staircase. I had to empty the case both ways in order to do this but it was not a huge problem.
Lovely, large, high-ceilinged room that was clean, comfortable and quiet and ten minutes walk from the train station. There is a convenient grocers store across the road.

LithuaniaMaybe because the building is old,we can hear people walking on third floor. That made us to wake up early in the morning, because people were moving with their luggage.
Location is perfect,15 min walking to the center area. Or can go by bus or metro. Next to the hotel is nice latino bar, where we found live music and dance. Shops,Lidl etc. Room is good, there is a kitchen downstairs.

United KingdomOnly thing was that it’s not very soundproofed and could clearly hear other guests across the hall in their rooms. But it is an old building and we only heard them once or twice. Not an issue for us.
Great location- short walk into the center of Brussels, close to the metro to take you around other Brussels sights & ten minutes to the train station. Area lovely with vintage shops and cafes. Easy check in and lock box with key. Able to leave bags until check in time. Clean room, toiletries and towels provided. Unexpected huge private balcony! Bed was comfy. Really liked the vintage style decoration. Definitely recommend to stay here whilst visiting Brussels.

MalaysiaThe spiral stairs would be challenging for those who are disabled or with a huge luggage. But for us, it's just fine, we managed.
We came here during autumn.Everything is well prepared for us and we even had a patio of our own. The room is pretty and there's heater in the room which worked well. It's in between Brussels Midi Station and the grand place so that made us easier to go either way.

United KingdomBreakfast facilities were very dirty. The beds weee not comfortable and it was like an aid bnb without being an air bnb . If you intend to visit with family then be aware that access is by way of a very narrow winding iron staircase which is very pretty but wholly unsuitable with large bags . The uppermost room has a very strange pangolin style staircase which is not easy to navigate I’m the dark. The beds were very soft and the location meant that the rooms were very noisy .
Excellent location

United KingdomIt was very warm, but I stayed during a heat wave! I couldn't leave the French doors open at night because of mosquitoes - I learnt the hard way on night one.
The room was very comfortable. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful and I knew I could contact him with any questions if I had them. The hotel is well located in a quieter part of town but still close by to lots of bars and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the shower is powerful and hot. The shared amenities in the kitchen were a nice touch. In all, this is an excellent value hotel for a stay in beautiful Bruxelles

LebanonHaving an AC in the room. Normal stairs to room or elevator. Decent customer service instead of sarcasm.
The appartment is basically one house with 3 separate rooms rented independently. Zero privacy. If someone talks, everybody listens. If someone walks, everybody listens. To reach ur room on first floor, u have to climb a very risky and dangerous narrow circular stair with ur bags. Location is near a hospital. Ambulances all night with their sirens. No air condition despite the high temperature. If u open the window to get some fresh air, u get too much noise (people on street, sirens, cars with loud music, etc) If u have a problem (such as we did with the high temperature issue) and u decide to write the owner, they read and ignore ur messages completely. In brief, never stay here. Nothing personal with the people there. It's just that this apartment is literally very bad.

AustraliaIf you have mobility issues or large suitcases, climbing a very narrow winding staircase might be hard. It was OK for us since we only travelled with carryon luggage.
The space has been beautifully renovated and Hugo is an absolutely delightful guy to chat with. The apartment is very quiet considering the central location. And the bed is like a cloud. The shared kitchen is well equipped, with fridge and (my favourite) a washing machine. Several bus stops and a metro stop is a short walk away. And the main Zuid train station was about 10 mins walk. So glad I booked this place.

United StatesThe room was great, and had a patio which was nice. The location was great for us, a little out of city center but still easy to get anywhere. Also the castle/museum down the street was an awesome addition for this trip. Location was quiet. There was a great little boulangerie a few doors away that had amazing croissants.

EgyptI didn't stay. I just arrived and waited for 20 mins in street till we found the key because they told us to open box 1 and its on box 2. Then we entered and found a very old place with dust and a tiny stairs u will never have the chance to pick up your bags upstairs even its small or big. Then we found a paper written that they are not responsible for any belongs in this place . Note: we didnt saw or dealed with someone all the communcations with msgs . The place is far from the city center Not recommended Another note 😂 I paid for my stay but i didn't stay . And when i request waiv the cancellation fees they refused . Not recommended Another thing 😂😂😂 it seemed on booking app that its fully booked but its empty guys . And when i said to the owner i will leave because of the stairs is tiny she said its appeared on the photos that its small and u should known that.. But u will never imagine how its small. If u want to live a bad experience and pay money then book in this old place . Not recommended
