Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomthere wasn't really anything we didnt like, just struggled with the tv a little bit but thats a minor issue considering we were barely in the room. would've liked a little bit more space too, but again, minor issues.
we were going to a concert at the ING arena, so perfect proximity for us! while basic rooms, it was clean and made a good place to rest and relax especially after a long day of travelling/walking. i have no complaints as staff were lovely & very helpful and easy to find.

AustriaThe only thing that I can think of is that it was a little cold in the room and I could not regulate the heating. But that’s all and not a big drama.
I was there for a concert at the ING ARENA. It’s not far to walk to the arena, there are also a lot of possibilities of public transportation that you can use to get to the city centre. The hotel staff was really friendly!

NetherlandsVery friendly Staff. Parking space is limited but that's mentioned upfront and there are parking possibilities nearby. The room is as expected from IBIS, basic and clean. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. A little point of improvement, there is no information to be found about the hotel itself in the room like f.e. diner possibilities or what the costs for breakfast are. Bathroom clean and functional. Bottle of water in the room, sounds very minor nevertheless it's a nice gesture. Location is superb for visiting the Brussels EXPO. The iconic Atomium is on walking distance.

South AfricaThey don't have enough parking for guests.
Located next to convention center, so location is convenient. Don't expect much, but it is useful for a night stay after a show at the arena.

NetherlandsThe facilities are so outdated. Our door didnt open even when we use our keys. Sometimes the card key did not work. The shower drain was clogged and when we told that to the staff upon check out, she said “why didn’t you tell us on the first night.” It was rude of her to say that. There were no other facilities in the room. The front office staff were mostly unfriendly and rude. Breakfast was also mediocre.
The location is perfect if you are a convention or concert goer.

FinlandOur first room was towards the road, with balcony, which was nice, but I figured it's a bit noisy for us, so we asked for another room (which was great). The room didn't have a fridge, which we missed. You also have to walk a bit to get to nearest grocery store (about 1km, 10 mins).
Hotel was moderately homey and clean. The second room we got was away from the road and it was quiet and we got good sleep. Staff was helpful. There are good restaurants nearby. We were mostly staying for the Expo, which is nearby, so the location was good. Atomium is also close. Public transport is ok. There's a bus stop nearby. For subway you have to walk a bit or take a bus.

Trinidad and TobagoI do not think there qas anything I did not like. I only had trouble finding the hotel after getting off the metro.
I lovehthe fact that it was close to one of the attractions and to the tram and metro so that I can go to wherever I wanted to go. I like the neighbourhood and how it was quiet and a grocery store that was a 13 minute walk from.the hotel.

GermanyRooms need to be renovated. It looked quite old, not like other IBIS hotels. It was more in line with a IBIS Budget Hotel. Also, the elevator was quite old and cranky.
Liked the staff, very helpful and understanding. Did not try the breakfast, so have no opinion. The location is close to the Atomium, and has good food nearby.
