Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsOk place for a short stay. Good location. However, I paid double (first through Booking, then at the hotel - they hadn't received the payment) and it took some back and forth to get my money back.

FranceThe least convenient shower I've ever had. To be able to take a decent shower, I had to turn the showerhead in a way that a lot of water would spill on the floor. And the breakfast was a bit overpriced for what was on the offer.
Great central location, wonderful staff. Quiet.

SwedenThe hotel hade an arrangement with the car parking garage but the instructions were a bit complicated so you end up having to pay full price for parking.
Very centraĺly located hotel. Clean and well-kept. Not luxurious but more basic and budget friendly. Good breakfast. Adjacent car parking garage.

CanadaThe hotel rooms very small, so we had to upgrade to a room where we could have one room with a double bed so we could have a bit more space to walk around otherwise there would be no room to walk except sit on the bed. The bathroom was a very good size. We didnt have any food since they dont serve food. The single bed was sliding all the time so I found it not good.
The place is close to all the attractions in Liege as most are walking distance. Its a big city but the old city is very small so many things within walking distance. We like the fact that city buses runs in front of the hotel and you can time your travel. The young hotel staff are very helpful and nice and recommended many things and were easy to communicate with it. We purchased ready made food (soup) from the front desk as we didn't feel like going into town for a small bit of eats. The hotel is near the Opera house, and a big plaza and quite safe to walk. Lots of cafes by walking distance. Liege has one of the famous metro stations.. its totally worth it to go and visit it. Its incredible - many trains leave from here to all over Europe and Belgium.

Great hotel in the city centre but it has no parking on site so be aware. The nearest parking which the staff will direct you to is "Parking Saint Denis" which is a short walk away from the hotel. Bikers beware, the Saint Denis car park is manned and the staff there are will charge per motorbike even though you can get 2 motorbikes in 1 car parking bay. We had to pay €16 per motorbike for 24 hours.

GreeceThe room was so hot and poorly ventilated and the windows don’t open. It felt stuffy and claustrophobic. They offered us a portable a/c but didn’t make a difference. The hotel’s only public area- breakfast room is a low ceiling room on the basement.
The location is central and the underground opera parking very convenient. The rooms are spacious and have big windows overlooking the square.

United KingdomDid’t like not being able to open window and no air conditioning. The fan worked well at keeping the room cool but was then a bit noisy. It is quite an old building though.
