Staff at reception great, other wise nothing else after been in Germany and Holland was a sad experience

Well I got their great staff and lovely welcome 🙏 got my bed and the room stunk of sick and dirty sweety feet made me feel sick 😫 I ask the guy y his shoes were next to my bed he said he was here first was frightened by this i ask someone down stirs to look into the problem but nothing was done so I went out till as late as possible and had to buy a nose peg and spray to cover the smell dusgusting for someone to stink but was not staff falt just taught I get moved but no I not one to keep asking and if not sorted I will just move on I left asap this morning at 6ish could not put up with it and was going to stay few more day thank God I found something else other wise boring hotel and sad bar surprised with size of it

The place was filthy. I got a skin infection from the bed, also the bathroom smell was diabolical. Disgusting and we had to cover our noses, even in 5th floor!

Location wasn’t too bad, close to happening areas but not a great place itself.

The fact that my husband was robbed right in front of the hotel a few moments before we left to the airport and the management didn’t reply to my email asking for help with this situation. Even if there was nothing they could do, a simple email showing some sympathy would have been nice.

Location is good for those who want to walk to the main turist spots and overall experience was good value for money. Easy check in and bedroom was comfortable and clean.

The breakfast wasn’t enough for the people staying, even if you went 30 minutes from the start, they already were out of croissants and orange juice, the staff said they weren’t refilling. Also the boiled eggs seemed to be from the day before, they where smelling bad and were green

The area was quite unsafe and scary for a solo traveller like me. They didn't provide free luggage storage.

Stayed in a women dorm, the bed and the room was comfortable. It's walking distance with a metro/tram station. It is also walkable to the Grand Palace, Jardin du mont de arts, Brussels Midi and Brussels Centrale.

It´s a tough start when the first thing you do in a hotel is having to pay for something that I nad never had to pay in years of going to hostels: leaving your luggage. I arrived at 12, check in was apparently not ready (although considering what follows could be just a business decision), and needed to leave my luggage there to walk around until 3pm. I was told to go downstairs to leave it there, and to my surprise it was paid lockers (a third party company handles it and the staff doesn´t seem to understand how it works either or how much money it costs in the end). Most were taken so I had to choose a medium size locker when a small would have been enough, spending extra money on it. Just for 2 hours. It´s a complete rip off to charge for this in a hostel of this price, and the whole system (not telling you before, staff not answering questions on how it really works since it´s not too clear what happens if you leave them 1 minute extra than what you prepaid) seems developed to get money out of you. That aside, the 6bed dorm I stayed in had a bathroom inside, which included a basin like 1meter afway with some beds. That combinated with peopl not used to sharing a room and being silent on reasonable hours, made it a nightmare of noise. Not exactly a 100% hotel´s fault but definitely something not too convenient.

Common area is nice and has comfy couches. Beds are comfortable and are pod like which is good for privacy.

Quite noisy at night, appeared to be guests (and potentially staff) outside drinking, talking and smoking. Quite noisy in the hallways. Went to reception to get a coffee in the morning and told not allowed to take it back to the room which was annoying. Had to pay for luggage storage, which was in the basement that smelt funny. Didn't have a bathroom, just a shower room and separate toilet with sink in the room. Lift seemed to visit every floor about 4 times before the one you called for. Only two hairdryers for the whole establishment

1. Bathroom has only rain shower, I took a morning shower but just wanted to wash my hair before bed but had to take a second shower in a cold weather. 2. Read so good reviews about 11€ breakfast, turned out the only good thing was plain pancakes, not good value for money.

Good location, comfortable mattress. Fun evening with live music. I read the late check in early check out policy so I planned my arrival and departure accordingly, which for the others might be a problem.

The hostel shuts down the lights at about 1 am, which is unusual for hostels. My room had a shared bathroom, which means that resting is not possible if someone needs you use the bathroom with no windows.

We are already six people in the room. A roommate brought her friend to stay in. It was unbelievable. I stayed a lot of hostels before but this was the most unsecured one. There is no security everyone just comes in and out. It was the first time i got anxious about my safety. I couldn’t sleep any. It was horrible
