Wonderful House, very cozy, where every Little Detail was taken care of. Christmas decorations and atmposphere were amazing. Great contact with the Host. I definitely recommend to couples who want to relax in a romantic rural Setting :)

Our stay was incredibly romantic! Even in autumn, the apartment had a special charm. The cozy fireplace, authentic old-style interior, and the quiet location made it the perfect getaway for couples. What truly elevated our experience was the guesthouse host. She was incredibly welcoming and her attention to detail was outstanding. Highly recommend for a romantic escape!

The property is very beautiful, not far from Bruges. Our room is very lovely and the fireplace makes the room very cozy. Beautiful breakfast table setting and delicious, but a bit more offer would be great. The owner is freindly.

Lovely building set in lovely gardens. Sylvie is the perfect hostess and takes genuine pleasure from giving her guests the best possible experience ( delicious glass of wine in the garden on arrival; personally selected local produce for breakfast; care and attention to every decorative detail). We enjoyed staying in a standard room in the main building but would definitely opt for one of the more luxurious options next time.

The beautiful garden and the absolute lovely room. As another bigger room was still available when we arrived, we got an upgrade for free :) Our room was equipped with a fireplace (gas-powered), which was very cosy in the evening as well. It was the best guesthouse during our whole two-week-vacation-tour :)

Nothing - all was perfect

This was our second visit to De Loverlij and it was just as good this time. We stayed in a barn conversion next door to the main building. There was a super comfy bed, a sitting area with its own real flame gas fire, a dining area, fridge and tv and a free standing bath. There was also an outside seating area which we used to eat lunch. Sylvie the host brought us seat cushions without us even asking which was a lovely touch. Sylvie is very friendly a helpful and speaks perfect English. She gave us good advice as to how to navigate Bruges, where to park and where to eat locally. The breakfast was amazing and included in the price. We were given homemade granola with yoghurt and fruit and a great selection of really fresh rolls and croissants with cheese, ham and jams. This is such a romantic place to stay and the surrounding gardens are vast and really amazing. We will definitely be back for a third time in the future.

Everything. Cleanliness of property, beds were very comfortable and a lovely bath tub. Breakfast was also excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and made us all feel so welcome Loved the decor and all the finishing touches.

The charming old fashioned bath tub is not senior friendly - slippery, difficult to get in and out of, no grab bars and difficult to shower if that's important.

2 flights of stairs to the room and an awkward step inside it to the bathroom. It’s a old building and uneven levels and small staircases are part of the charm

Nothing not to like it was perfect.

The location was great for driving into central Brugge. The property itself is stunning and looked even more beautiful in the snow. The room had a romantic feel and a very welcoming fire which the owner kindly lit prior to our arrival

I like everything I can not find one fault.

It was magical, such a beautiful place. just far enough away from the hustle & bustle only 10 minutes to drive to Brugge centre very straight forward. The room was very clean and had an open log fire which was so nice to sit in front off after a cold day of sightseeing. English TV and a roll top bath I thought I was in Shabby Chic heaven. I loved everything about this place, the host was very nice and recommended places to eat, The breakfast was amazing homemade Granola, Jam and eggs if you wanted with basket of Croissants & rolls I just can not fault one thing. I would 110% recommend a visit you will not be disappointed. Even Rudi the dog was well behaved and gave us a lovely greeting. I will definitely visit again in the summer as the gardens are also beautiful & well kept. This is a little gem.
