Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsSadly no lift, and that’s a bother for an asthmatic. Also very confusing room key collection and drop off. When asked where the close parking was…..was just sent a parking name to my WhatsApp. (Which was not recognized by my navigation.) A GPS drop point should have been so very much easier - and averted much stress. Leaving the next morning was also unclear where the key should be dropped off, as the brasserie downstairs the hotel (where I collected the key the night before) was closed. Whilst the hotel is central and very pretty….i would not return due to the present management conditions. Clarity and ease for clients should be of primary importance.
Delightful room. Very comfortable bed! Very clean and quirky decor. Really nice.

United StatesOnly downside is the bathroom with only a tub. The tub was grand! But showering off after a long day was a very messy affair.
Great spot for getting to the F1 race at Soa-Francorchamps! Staff was friendly and helpful!

BelgiumThis hotel is located upstairs of a restaurant. You check in the hotel at this restaurant. But they don't speak English. Luckily, there was somebody who speaks English, so I was able to manage it. A hotel in a reasonably touristic place like Spa should be a bit more accommodating to non-French speaking guests.
Nice hotel at the center of the town. The auto-race-theme interior is an interesting idea. It's apparently a part of the restaurant downstairs. The BEST thing about the room is the clawfeet bath tub. It's rare to see something like this in a hotel room except for super-expensive upper-class hotel. Being able to enjoy it in a reasonable-priced hotel like this is an extra bonus.

AustraliaThink I'd have preferred a shower (apparently it a 50/50 chance??). The fridge wasn't very cold and I'd have liked some real milk although that's pretty much the same as most of Belgium. I didn't mind but there are some stairs to climb.
Location was great although had a slight issue finding the entrance to the hotel. Thankfully a quick call it was all sorted, staff were very helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable, able to open windows to let breeze in. The room I was in had a bath which was quite good. Room had plenty of interesting photos, lots of character. No noise issues. Very well cleaned and kept.

Directly in the city center, really nice decorated for automobile and racing enthusiasts. The furniture is new , everything needed was in the room.

United StatesSome minor things to note for others is that it isn't an actual hotel with staff, so if you needed anything you have to try to call the owner (whose number was left on a sheet of paper in the room). There is no lobby and there isn't an elevator to get to the rooms, so it limits who could stay there as there are no rooms on the street level. I believe the rooms start at 2 flights of stairs up from street level. It would be nice when you prepay if prior to your arrival instructions were sent for access to the building instead of having to go into the restaurant to check-in. It was a little awkward to be carrying our luggage through a restaurant while people were eating, but staff were able to assist us. The roller shades provided decent darkening, but felt cheap in the room and one was broken. Lighting and storage in the bath could be improved - it was dark to be putting on makeup and there wasn't any place to lay out our products.
The room was well decorated, spacious, and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice. The soaking tub was excellent. There was a very large tv in the room that allowed us to access our Netflix account for movies. The room had a Nespresso machine and electric kettle for tea and coffee, however, no bottled water was provided. The bathroom was equipped with a hairdryer and flatiron, which was really a nice bonus. Great location in Spa. We'd stay there again when in Spa.

United StatesVery disappointed It was a dorm not a hotel booking should do their homework before posting properties like this on their website. The place has no elevator no reception to check in. You have to check with the bartender. handicaps wouldn’t be able to use the place since there is no elevator and you have to log your luggage all the way to the upper floors, in my case I think 3rd floor (Europe) 4th floor (USA). The bathroom had a deep tub that can’t be used by older people or handicaps. During the check out there was nobody to talk to. We had to figure out how to check out on our own. The place is not to a night club. The music was very loud until 4 o’clock in the morning and since there is no air conditioner , the windows had to stay open. The person behind the bar was very rude and not helpful at all. I don’t recommend this place at all. You should stay away from this place and there is not luxurious about it even luxury is part of its name.

AustraliaThe reception was in a bar, it was saturday night so it was full of people. I had my motorbike with me and could find nowhere to leave it. She directed me to a car park 200 metres from the hotel it was completely open to the public anyone could walk in and it was like a building site. The receptionist was surly and not very understanding. I knew I couldn't stay here with my bike and all my gear it didn't feel safe. I asked if i could cancel and get a refund she told me to go through booking com who then tell you to talk to the hotel. So I lost 200 aud. I think things like this could be handled better, I should have researched better maybe but when the booking page says paid parking you expect something a bit better than an unsecured building site carpark. Needless to say I will never book again.

NetherlandsSo, let's begin: What was there to find, I had to go into the restaurant with difficulty and ask the waiters about it, right on the spot in this restaurant, before they demanded to speed up the tax, so-so hospitality. Door opens with a regular key, which opens this door 15 times, change the lock already! TV remote control was simply missing; it was impossible to actually use it; requests to solve this problem were ignored. The carpet smelled of something sour and a baby had vomited on it. There was hot water for exactly 10 minutes in 2 days, we were never able to wash ourselves. There is no trash can, only a small one near the toilet. The noisy exhaust hood from the restaurant actually opens up the view from the window. The light is disgusting, the main one hits your eyes wherever you live, and you don’t even want to turn on the “bedside” light. Quite noisy, you can hear all the steps on the stairs and the sound of the restaurant, which is located under the rooms. Late in the evening there was an unpleasant burning smell coming from the ventilation; we doubted that the room was already starting to burn.
Large bathroom (but there is a caveat) Great location Comfortable bed

NetherlandsThe cleanliness is highly problematic. There is constant smell coming from the bathroom. We had two rooms and both had a terrible smell. Also, the TV did not work as a message kept indicating that the channels were not installed. Finally, it took us a lot of time to find the hotel, though we stood in from of it. On Booking.com, it's called "Luxury Spa Hotel" but that name is nowhere to be find on the hotel façade. We wondered why they did not call it "Palmares Hotel", because that's the door one takes into the hotel.
The hotel is close to the Thermes de Spa and very close to the restaurants. Car parking is free, though one has to park away from the main street (which is paid for)
