Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsBreakfast is quite average and with the price i would appreciate if the bread and fresh juice were offered in a buffet setting and not have to ask everytime to refill. Egg station also on demand and you have to pay extra for a poach egg. The reception and check in could be long but no welcome drink were offered, it doesn’t feel welcoming.same in spa no water being offered, hot tea also cost extra.
Beautiful surrounding, ideal to take a walk in the forest. Swimming pool, sauna and haman are very good and open early in the morning, i wish they open later in the night as well

BelgiumThe rooms were a bit small, with a very modest old design for the price. I was a bit disappointed. There was no door to the bathroom, including the toilet, it may be too tricky for some couples. The “buffet” breakfast is not worth the money. The buffet consisted of a few cheap cereal choices and some dried fruit, plus we were brought a cheese and meat plate, one drink and an egg dish (we could choose from the menu). If I went back I would only get a dish from the menu instead.
Very lovely location, beautiful views, nice walks around the property. The spa facilities were very nice, there is a small but nice swimming pool with a lovely view too. Cozy relaxing area. The restaurant dinner was fantastic, we have quite a difficult diets but the chef made it work for us and it was great!

GermanyOne minor inconvenience in our room was a lack of stand up shower (bath tub only), which made it challenging not to spray the surrounding area. The vanity mirrors were only low, so you can only see your reflection if sitting low on a stool, not while standing.
Staff was welcoming, location and wellness spa perfect for a quiet get-away.

United KingdomIf we had to be critical we found the food to be not particularly special for the price that was charged. An example of this was the scrambled eggs we ordered with bacon came with literally charred bacon. We sent it back but this was replaced with undercooked bacon which we again sent back but by the time we got it back we had finished our eggs!
Amazing location & stunning. Building with an exceptional spa.

BelgiumFelt at times understaffed. The team is great but for a hotel of this level, the staff needs to be more present for the clients. That would be the only - very small - downside.
Magnificent location.

CanadaThe spa area, though it is clean and nice it is very tiny and the pool is way too cold . Also the fancy shower with different jet was not working properly.
The room, service breakfast were excellent. The garden is beautiful.

AustraliaThe room we were in was perfect for the weather in May, but it could possibly be a bit stuffy in summer, with no air conditioning or easy way to open windows (no fly screens)
The staff and service were amazing, as was the spa experience. And the food was absolutely incredible. The property and the grounds are stunning too.

BulgariaRoom 15: a misleading promise for a view on t mountains: we only had a mini-tiny window which did not show any view whatsoever, and practically no daylight entered the piece. The walls colour was horrible - intensely dark grey, which enforced the sinister feeling of being in a cage ! Also, the bed is not a big double bed, as advertised! It only consists of two mattresses put next to one another - another misleading ad. In addition, the electricity lighting in room 15 is not user-friendly at all: all lights are switched on and off simultaneously i.e. no way to modulate the light. Finally, the type of lamps chosen (perhaps in a designer effort to be modernistic) are more suited for an office but not for a bedroom. Please avoid Room 15 at any cost, if you can.
We liked the design and spirit of the place, the team was very accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast was gorgeous and the spa was quite pleasant.

Netherlandsthe trteatments at the spa were firstclass, but i think the service can be better in spa area. waters need to be filled constantly, towels not readily available. looks like not enough staff. steamroom showing wear and tear. sauna too. some parts of pool as well. so in short: facilities and service need some attention, but the treatments were amazing!!!!
room very spacious, surroundings beautiful, staff extremely friendly and accomodative restaurant is ok, but seems they try a bit too much. keep it simple........nevertheless food is ok

BelgiumSee above re room. One of the reasons we stay at le Manoir Labioles is for the excellent restaurant. But we were disappointed this time - dishes a bit too "fancy" & less tasty - has the Chef changed??? However, the restaurant staff were excellently trained & friendly as usual.
We stayed in the Suite Royale. A lovely room overlooking hills & garden, well furnished, very comfortable bed, but we thought it overpriced for what it was.

PortugalEverything was ok, if I had to change one thing it would perhaps be a bit of a quicker service at dinner, but to be fair it was quite a few courses, so I suppose it would always take a while.
The breakfast was very good, choice wise and quality wise, the breakfast room was very pleasant, it was quiet, there was table service and had a view to the garden. The room was also quite pleasant and confortable with a nice view. Finally, the spa was very pleasant and made the trip even more worth it.

United KingdomWe didn’t opt for breakfast or dinner because the dinner menu is very limited and very expensive. would be great if they perhaps did a dinner bed and breakfast offer price or offered a bar menu for snacks. We had to consistently leave the hotel to eat this was the only thing I think the hotel is perhaps missing an opportunity on. Otherwise we had a great time and staff were amazing thank you

IsraelThe restaurant. The dinner was a worst experience in all our stay in Belgium. We payed a lot of money and went to sleep hungry. It was a fixed menu, and everything except the desert was not tasty. My fish was salty as hell, they took it and told me that they tasted it and it is OK, not offering anything to replace it and I paid for it (3 bites I took).
Gorgeous mansion in the middle of forest. Breathtaking location. Beautiful suite.
