We heard quite a bit of noise (screaming and crying) one night from the room below us that kept us up for about an hour or two. The front desk was already gone and we weren’t sure how to address the issue.

Really enjoyed our stay, staff were lovely, room was very clean, nice sized room, very comfortable bed and pillows shower gel, conditioner and body lotion provided were good quality Room was pretty well isolated from the outside noises but people can be heard in the corridor which can be quite noisy but it’s only briefly Room was well heated and had a good AC unit, had both outlets and USB C outlets to charge

The Hotel du Theatre is a very clean, comfortable and friendly hotel, which is seems to be aimed towards a clientele wanting a quieter experience. There is a "no noise after 22:00" rule, which is necessary as there does not seem to be much sound insulation between the rooms. The breakfast is fairly basic but very good, although I didn't have the nerve to try the mushrooms. The scrambled eggs were near perfect, though. The location could not be more central and there are plenty of museums, galleries, shops, bars, and restaurants within a very short walk. My only real complaint is that the bedside tables were incredibly small, to the point where you could have your phone or a glass of water but not both unless you're willing to risk a disaster.

The location is wonderful and the breakfast offers plenty of good choices, hot and cold. The staff there is super nice, professional and knowledgeable. I sprained my ankle badly that day. The lady on the duty showed my husband where the pharmacy was so I got the help I needed and recovered sooner than I expected. I really appreciate her help and thoughtfulness.

The noise was a bit of a problem for me. My room was beside the elevator and it seemed like the door would bang anytime someone else opened their door (maybe a draft causing a vacuum). I also found the noise from the cleaners excessive because it was a lot of banging noises and shouting not just regular cleaning noise like vacuums etc from very early

The room was perfectly clean, and I found the receptionist very kind! The location was just off the main market square so I found this great as a solo female traveller!

The floors made a lot of noise when walking in the room. Was woken up at 1AM by noise from people walking in the room above us.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It offers good value for the price, affordable without compromising on basic quality. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well-maintained, and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The towels were also nice. The only small downside was that the lotion dispenser was empty. Not a big issue though. For a solo one-night stay, it was a good choice. The location is convenient, the staff is friendly, and the street is quiet. Overall, a positive experience.

Staff super kind! I forgot an item in my room and they (free of charge) shipped it back to my country, and sent me the tracking number. The structure is a little bit old fashioned, but clean and cozy and location fantastic.

The walls seemed to be very thin, I could hear everything from the lobby, and I am assuming they heard everything from the room as well. Everything else was excellent.

The location of the hotel was excellent, it was right in the center. The staff was very nice and they even let us leave the luggage after we checked out, before our bus arrived. The room was very comfortable and pretty as well.

Surprisingly, the hotel did not have a single sewing kit available. It would also be great if the glasses near the vending machine were not placed on a dusty shelf. Before using them, there is no real opportunity to wash them properly, especially if you’re in the lobby and would like to enjoy a drink there rather than in your room.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel—it’s all about the details here. I was pleasantly surprised to have a room on the ground floor, and it didn’t feel unusual at all. I appreciate a truly comfortable sleep, and the soundproofing in this location is absolutely perfect. The bed, mattress, pillows, and linens were all exceptional, making for a wonderfully restful experience. The location was great, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you, and I highly recommend this place!

Our room was very hot, I don’t know why I didn’t look for the heating controls, so I opened the window. That was a big mistake as being a Friday night the party didn’t finish until after 04.00! The hotel have spent a lot of money on triple glazing to keep the noise out. The room was small but adequate, and reasonably priced.

We loved that the hotel was in the centre of Bruges, so it was easy walking everywhere.
