Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe bathroom was nice clean but the water temperature was SO HOT!! I tried to call the reception with the phone in the room but the phone doesn't work. I went downstairs to the recpetion and they promised to send someone but they NEVER CAME. So we had to shower with very hot water on a summer weekend. There are NO breakfast option in the hotel and not so many options to have breakfast outside. (We ate in the central station).
The staff was friendly. The location was also very good so you could see the village and go eat somewhere.I like the price as well. Rooms were clean.

PolandGood for one night or for people who don’t care about noise.Hotel is in an old building and just next to very busy train station so it is very noisy because of passing by trains. Bathroom was in poor condition- the shower didn’t work, only bath tap. There was no plug in the bathtub too so either shower now bath was possible.
Room was clean, worm and comfortable .Hotel is in an old building but there is lift. There is very good restaurant in the hotel with delicious food.

United KingdomIt's difficult to think of 2 or 3 sentences about what I didn't like, as there was very little cause for criticism. The only shortfall that I can think of is that it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
As I was travelling by train, the location immediately adjacent to the train station was perfectly suited to my requirements. Check-in was friendly and efficient and I was given a spacious triple-bedded room.

United KingdomThere was only one socket, but we had come armed with a double USB for charging phones. We arrived much earlier than expected so had to wait until 2pm to check in.
The location was excellent, close the the venue where we had come to see a concert and opposite the railway station. The room had adjustable heating and an opening window for fresh air. The bathroom was well stocked and the bed reasonably comfortable.

United KingdomNo push-up plug in the basin, a broken coat hook on the door and half the bathroom doorhandle missing. I would like a non-slip mat in the bath/shower available.
Broken fixtures was a no-no but bed comfortable and the predomidably Nepalese staff just love you! They don't do breakfast but direct you 100m down the road to a specialist restaurant with wonderful food. The hotel has a restaurant doing Thai, Indian and Japanese cuisine and was always empty. It is the best kept secret as the sushi and the Thai red curry were SPECTACULAR!! Traffic noise is an issue for all hotels but my room had double glazing and an electric shutter so I slept through the scream of the HGV's. The Thai cleaner has come in my room, all smiles and giggles; whats not to like?

United KingdomYou get what you pay for, it isn’t 5 star so don’t expect that. it’s a good place to stay if you’re on. a budget. it just wasn’t “wow” A basic hotel, they kept the lights off in the hallways and stairwells, which didn’t help the ambience.
The property was close to the town, and train station.

NetherlandsSome items are outdated (e.g hair dryer) yet it is excellent value for money.
Location is perfect, just off train station but if you come by car, parking can also be arranged. We were lucky and had an amazing view to the square. Supermarket is some 50 meters away, and there is also a good bakery at the square.

BelgiumMany things unfortunately... The room felt very dusty, the air and everything, so that you wanted to sneeze. There was a strong smell of chlorine in the room. The toilet was not flushing well, you cannot get toilet paper to go away. Also it is a very noisy location, so be prepared to wake up early because of the sounds of trucks outside. The heating system is very noisy, you hear water dripping all the time, thus you need to decide: sleep in a warm room with an irritating sound or in a cold room with relative silence.
The hotel is right next to the station, so the positioning is very good.
